Agreed. Who would support and team and not want it to be successful, instead hoping they can stay in a league so they watch the opposition
-
Sticking that one alongside the fastest hatrick and fastest goal trophies 🙄
-
No major trophy’s. Couple of 2nd tier titles one fairly recently. Cup runners up twice. A full members cup in 91 to rival our JPT victory 👍

Did it bollox. I wanted to go up as champions, so did all the lads I go with. I don’t care what good it did reading, just because they didn’t survive it doesn’t mean we wouldn’t have. We were 5 points clear with only a few games to go ending up limping over the finishing line don’t forget. The JPT final was great, I was even buzzing for days when our kids won the U21 cup a few years ago. To see saints win something that matters would be unbelievable. The amount of all that matters is staying in the premier league nonsense shows how dead the game is now.

We have to be the biggest underachievers for a club of our size. One FA cup, runners up in 5 major cup finals, Loads of runners up in every promotion except one 3rd division title 60 years ago. Surely can’t be many clubs of a similar size who’ve won less, even a championship league title would be welcome but We even managed to screw up winning the division in both our back to back promotion Seasons under Adkins. Still for some none of that matters as long as the bank balance is healthy.

Bit of a fuss over nothing. After the initial HOW DARE THEY STOP THE PEACEFUL VIGIL has died down and. Few facts emerge about the truth of what happened then suddenly all those screaming about how the evil police attacked innocent people back down and admit that actually it wasn’t quite like that

I still find it amazing some of our fans were worried Liverpool were going to come in for him and compared him to Alex Ferguson. Good luck to him, top bloke.

We really do have some odd fans. My wife worked at Saints for seven year she was made redundant like many others when we were struggling in the championship, Obviously she was upset, for many of them it's more than just a job. But they all got over it, all got other jobs and life went on. It's really odd that people are hoping we just survive in the premier league rather than actually win something because a few people they've never met before might lose their jobs, speaking from experience it really isn't that bad.

Glad to see you're fully onboard with it pal! I bet this is the kind of response from men that all those protests were hoping for.
-
Yea you’re more worried about our bank balance and don’t want a cup run because we’re 7 points clear of relegation with 9 games left, are you sure football is the game for you sir?
-
can’t wait until this seasons open top bus tour with Goa and semmens holding aloft the cheque with our 15th placed prize money amount across it winning trophies is meaningless. Jesus Wept.
-
Still take that if it meant we won the FA Cup. We’ve won one trophy in 131 years, the vast majority of our support has never seen us win anything. I’d take an FA cup win over relegation every single day of the week. That’s what sport is about, not playing every season just to hope you finish 17th or above for the “honour” of being cannon fodder for the big clubs

Sheldon Report - Institutional Failings in Child Sex Scandal
Turkish replied to The Kraken's topic in The Saints
He lived right near me and came to our school on several occasions. His house had some graffiti on it a couple of times and I’m pretty sure you’re right about the brick through the window. There were definitely lots of stories going round our year about him as well, he used to run football camps in the school holidays. Scary to think how many victims here might be. -
Sounds like it was until they started having things thrown at them https://news.met.police.uk/news/statement-from-ac-helen-ball-following-events-in-clapham-common-423210

So you don’t believe the statement from the Met police then? by the way I didn’t struggle with the BLM protests, it was the situation with wallies on here denying there was any violence whatsoever only after being shown the considerable evidence of widescale disorder did they finally admit there was any even then it was dismissed as only a tiny minority, let’s not let that get in the way of the cause we were told, much like this is.

My light humour obviously went over your head, stop getting so upset FFS

Yeah great, lets start referring to Minamino as Mr Wong while we are at it shall we? Racist.

What bits of what I said weren’t true?
-
good man. I'm a year older than you had mine a couple of weeks ago, i live in Yorkshire and loads our age group have had them so seems they are getting down to our age group everywhere now. i didn't have any side effects at all. Apart from an overwhelming, constant urge to throw away my ipad and do daily microsoft updates on my computer for the last couple of weeks i've been fine.

What part of “the vigil was cancelled”are you struggling to understand?
-
Considering rumours Kat was looking to sell 3 years before she did and we ended up with Goa, plus the fact Goa is desperate to sell then I wouldn’t believe the waiting for the right buyer line, it’ll be the first one to stump up enough cash.
-
Correct. The vigil was cancelled, yet the protesters turned up anyway waving anti police and anti men placards. The met police statement says that the police only got heavy handed when anti police chanting started and objects were thrown at them. But let’s carry on pretending it was just a load of lovely people who cared deeply about Sarah and wanted to quietly and peacefully express their grief.
