The planted questions from Sky are ****ing tedious.

Not worrying at all. Just stating the situation as I see it. Both are quality both will leave in the summer if they don't sign new contract. Club will have no choice but to sell. Hopefully both sign. Would be madness if we havent tried to get Clyne to extend his and we all know the club has tried with Jay. Nothing we can do (now) if they decide not to sign.
-
He wasnt injured this time last year. To one of the above points, he may not have signed a new one this time last year either, but he was slightly less hyped then, despite being a big player for us. Similar scenario with Clyne, if you were his agent you would surely advise to get your head down, have a great season and come the summer Saints are under big pressure to sell if you won't sign, because we won't want to lose these guys on frees. Where possible you don't want to let good, young, English players who are attracting attention to run their contracts down to 18 months left. It rarely ends well.
-
If he won't sign a new contract we are pretty much forced to sell him in the summer as surely won't want to lose a 15m plus asset for nothing. Should have sorted his contract out about this time last year.

What results would suit us best this weekend?
Saint Charlie replied to Professor's topic in The Saints
This. Only important result is ours. -
Lallana a better dribbler but Tadic a much better passer. Superb player. Not a criticism but should have scored more goals so far this season!
-
There is definitely one from last season in the shop.
-
You can't realistically have lots of academy players starting if you sell the best three in one summer. Unless you put people in the team who arent good enough. JWP aside, none of the others get near the starting XI on merit. Reed and Targett look promising and Gallgher certainly has something but the likes of Isgrove won't make it.

Saints 8 (Eight) Sunderland 0 - Match and Reactions

He had already shot. Wasnt like he was rounding the keeper. -
Chunk behind the goal next to away fans. Crap view I guess but its always there rather than up high in a corner somewhere.

The shame IMO is that the empty seats are always very visible on TV even if there are only a few.

Tadic most unselfish Saints player ever?
Saint Charlie replied to Red and White Army's topic in The Saints
Papa Waigo led the line selflessly at times during his successful loan spell at Saints. Tadic is different class though. Superb player. Amazed he went undetected in Holland. Lets enjoy him before he joins a CL side. -
Cork said after today's game that there has been no change to his situation and no talks. Maybe we just aren't going to offer anything?

Finishing was poor today but good to get the 3 points. -
Saints duo win awards - Koeman MOTM - Pellè POTM

Haha. In the summer that sadoldgit lad told me to "go outside, take up golf, get a girlfriend etc". Has anyone told him you can do those three and post on an internet forum all at the same time? -
Good work in signing up Davis, wonder if one of the more time-crucial ones could be next?

Saints duo win awards - Koeman MOTM - Pellè POTM

Thats the type that would be in for him though, not the Lecce's or Bologna's. No point worrying about it, but if Inter and Juve at different times have taken Osvaldo, then if Pelle decided he wanted to end his career over there, then I'm sure he could get a move to one of those. After scoring 50 goals over two seasons for us of course! -

Great work from both, and well deserved, hopefully we can continue this kind of success. As an aside could see one of the big Italian teams coming in for Pelle in the summer or the summer after if he maintains this kind of form - they would all like the prestige of having the Italian number 9 and he would surely want to end his career having "made it" in his home country. We seem to like the fairytale striker stories at Saints! -
No Judas, Just Poyet - Sunderland Build Up

Just to start the traditional weekly panic: any sign of Schneiderlin in the training videos, I couldnt see him in the photos? -
Gallagher and Reed are in the first team training video so could be in the squad for Saturday, Reed certainly.

Would be great if Wales or NI managed to qualify for a tournament at the expense of a so called bigger football nation.
-
The more Intl recognition Morgan gets, the better for Saints. Great to see him starting games for one of the top 6 or 7 nations.

He hasnt featured a lot for Ireland since O'Neill came in.
