Simple question - would you offer them a new contract: Connolly - Yes - Has been brilliant since he came back in, a pay as you play one year deal is a risk but if he plays 15 games its worth it. Wouldn't be suprised if Saints don't make him an offer though. Jaidi - Yes - Will be perfect for some games. One year. Harding - Yes One/two years Butterfield - Yes - Tough one because he has been very good but we might be able to get someone better. Plus Richardson is on a 3 year deal and Jack Stephens is a good back up RB. Another one year contract is most likely I think. Gobern - No - not of the required standard, will hopefully get a L1 club. Martin - Yes - but needs to spend a season on loan in L1 It wouldn't entirely suprise me if someone we expect to keep doesn't get offered a contract. If we are going to bring a few players in then we need to get rid of a couple who are in the squad now or will end up with too many players.

If he doesn't cost a whole lot then I think we could develop him into a good player.
-
I think it was Deppo.
-
Notts County was a draw though, so we didn't lose two league games in a row under Adkins this season.
-
Ah so he still works for Saints? Good to use the expertise of our ex players.
-
Turned out to be a pretty good signing then. I thought he was class yesterday and has really come on since the turn of the year. I think he will do a good job in the CCC, always gets in good goalscoring positions and seems to be on the same wavelength as the better players in the team. Must have ended up with 12 or 13 goals this season, often playing from midfield.

Can someone summarise the interview?

Football League Paper: Player rumours - Howard and Bolasie
Saint Charlie replied to Tac-tics's topic in The Saints
Bolasie was pretty sharp against us on Monday but not a whole lot of end product (goal aside). Would be a decent option off the bench but not a starter. -
And its those players who have earned us the Promotion, so they should take the glory of it.
-
The players who have contributed the most to the Promotion deserve their chance to experience the atmosphere on Sat. Would be suprised if its not the strongest team available!

I think he is a good player who always puts in 100% and is good at putting himself about whilst maybe not being the most skilled. He clearly loves playing for Saints and has popped up with some important goals. Seeing as we have good attacking players who need a base to play I think he is a good midfield workhorse, who has played at CCC standard before.

The "Big" News - free "All Star" match on Sunday: K.O 3pm
Saint Charlie replied to benjii's topic in The Saints
That team will need a few more attacking players.... -
So Lopez will sign eventually then? Whats your source?
-
It fits with what Claus said on Twitter earlier, that he was playing at SMS next week.

Probs a kit announcement.
-
Maybe something like a kit?
-
Just in ground, bloody windy but pitch is good.

Hope Guly is fit, he is having a good spell at the moment and always has a goal in him.
-
I think we have to go for it like in the Brentford game. Give Plymouth no encouragement or it will become a tough game. We play best when attacking teams.
-
Plays a bit like Joe Cole did when he was on form. Not many Saints in the same style!

The much Maligned Rickie Lambert this season
Saint Charlie replied to doddisalegend's topic in The Saints
You can see how much class Lambert has in every game. He is the best passer at the club and his first touch is excellent. No worries about him for next year. -
Jose Fonte - Saints Web Player of the Season
Saint Charlie replied to St Chalet's topic in The Saints
Fonte purely because he has consistently been excellent. If Lallana had played the same amount of games then would have gone for him. -
Furthest south west Radio Solent 96.1 coverage
Saint Charlie replied to markyboy's topic in The Saints
Different direction again but I listened to Phillips get those two late debut goals away at Leicester from a car park in Cherbourg. -
Pahars v Man Utd at OT nutmegging Stam. Class. Benali and Lundekvam goals.
