About 79' I saw York City versus Barnsley , Barnsley fans made a racket in the open end and York fans were pretty impressive. I remember as a 14 year old boy spending the match watching the fans goading each other. To this day I do not know how my old man swung it for us to watch that match whilst on a family trip to Yorkshire?

Saints shooting themselves in the foot again, as stated above the away fans often found it hard to outsing two sets of Saints Supporters who in turn were trying to outsing one another.
