Don't remember them missing an open goal.
-
As did we to be fair. AA had one saved and Archer was clean through and keeper saved one.
-
Another goal and assist today.

The progress in 6 games is remarkable. We should get better and better but certainly need to defend calmly and more efficiently. Going forward we are good to watch.

18 goals scored in 6 games is very impressive. Next job is to make us more secure defensively. If Tonda can do that we'll be a reaĺly decent team.
-
Didn't suggest he was perfect but that was a much improved cameo from him with some good bursts of pace. Keep that up and he'll be very useful for the squad.
-
Thought he looked much quicker today and caused Brum plenty of problems.
-
Still has major problem with positioning. Again he's left a big gap to his left and can't reach the shot. He'd save far more if he understood angles.
-
Behave. We had good chances in the second half. 3-1 was a fair result.
-
It'll obviously be Baz.
-
I'm guessing Lionel Messi started with a goal against someone's reserves.

This thread is now defunct....for now anyway 🙂

Good luck Tonda, hope you make a rip roaring success of it then we'll all be happy.

Pep, Jurgen, Zidane, Simeone, Enrique, Deschamps, Gallardo. Football is different from most other industries in that managers who get sacked are still in demand. Some still go on to do a decent job others are just crap. I guess the trick is to sort the wheat from the chaff - easier said than done. The alternative is what we seem about to do - give an opportunity to a young manager with potential and hope it works out. Both options carry risks.
-
Think this will be a score draw. We've had 4 wins and a defeat so a draw is expected especially as Brum are decent.
-
What you mean the managers who have been sacked because they're shit?
-
Nah, MLG knows best 🙂

I think for the first one he couldn't save it due to his poor starting position. Stand in the right spot to narrow the angle and give the bloke less space to shoot at and he saves it comfortably. His bad positioning is what is causing him to let in far more goals than he should.
-
I read somewhere that his work permit for the full time role is different to the one he already has for the U2s.
-
Someone on TUI claiming Tonda has been given the job but they are waiting on a work permit which was declined and we have appealed. Sounds feasible.

The possession stats tell a story - we had too much of the ball in the wrong areas. Millwall were more than happy to allow us to play around at the back and make meaningless sideways and backward passes (prime Russball) because it allowed them to set up and implement their aggressive press which we couldn't deal with. We should have cut all that out and played more vertical and long passes to break the game up - it wouldn't have been pretty but I think it would have nullified a lot of their pressing.

What a condescending derivative comment about one of our great servants. Uncalled for.

Is Farke off?
