  1. Lambert for his massive improvement over the past twelve months, he must be working really hard in training. He is an example to the younger lads that practice improves your game.
  2. http://www.telegraph.co.uk/sport/football/teams/west-ham/8976322/West-Ham-manager-Sam-Allardyce-says-its-promotion-or-bust-this-season.html Last paragraph, "we do not want to put the club in jeopardy - the Portsmouth scenario "..... However, West Ham are considering an appeal against the FL financial fair play regulations. http://www.telegraph.co.uk/sport/football/teams/west-ham/8974105/West-Ham-considering-legal-moves-against-Football-Leagues-plans-for-financial-fair-play-rules.html
  3. Got to love this from the BBC website match report Portsmouth manager Michael Appleton: "The away record is something that has been spoken about before but I never mentioned it all week. "I said to them just two minutes before they went out that there is no difference - the pitch is the same size, the grass is green and you play against 11 men. The only difference is that you get cheered at home and booed away. To get the win was great for us. "Going into injury time you don't want to lose the game and getting the clean sheet was my main focus. "We are just trying to stay focused on what happens on the pitch rather than off it. I said the other week, and I was half serious, that it helps having a couple of players who aren't the brightest because they can't think about it." Priceless!
  4. +1 from me
  5. http://www.guardian.co.uk/football/2011/dec/07/hmrc-wind-up-petitions-football-league A seven million pound vat bill?
  6. There was an article about North One and the WRC in the Times yesterday. It said they were surprised when the promised investment from CSI did not materialise!
  7. I take it you mean press favourites rather than long names, big can be ambiguous! Just good quality players, being press favourites do not make them better players.
  8. http://swissramble.blogspot.com/search/label/Peter%20Storrie Since it is FA cup time again, a little reminder of the lead up to the previous meeting with Chelsea.
  9. WHU have no chance of going up. Shocking home form, away form is too good to sustain. No one will get promoted this season all the teams are sh1t
  10. But why would CSI pay the instalments not NewCo (PFC2010 Ltd)? Surely the operating company would pay the costs, unless CSI are recharging PFC2010 Ltd at a premium. If CSI are (were) paying the instalments does that mean they are linked for the purposes of the Football League test? As usual more questions than answers
  11. http://theseventytwo.com/football-league/championship/2011/11/30/southampton-rack-up-the-points-to-remain-pointless/ Article from the A football league dedicated site
  12. Just why would Chanrai have a debenture from CSI? He has one on PFC 2011 or whatever the company is called for the asset of the ground. If CSI and newco. are not linked as per SLH and SFC why would he have the CSI debenture?
  13. Pleased for him, hope is enjoying the game again. Certainly a better player than Danny Ings
  14. For the record, Man U away record last season as champions was P19 W5 D10 L4 F29 A25 GD4 PPG1.31
  15. Blimey, off line for 48 hours and all hell breaks loose. Reminds me of a previous article on that site http://www.twohundredpercent.net/?p=12750&cpage=1#comment-41799
