The hype does not equal the return he gives us as a player. Good player but not a premier league player, its too fast for him, he could be a great championship midfielder but he isnt a DM or a central midfield shuttler in the premier league

Some stats: Over the last 9 league games we have had 111 shots, scored 5 goals (3 v Bournemouth) which means we are averaging 12.3 shots per game and have a shot to goal conversion rate of 4.5% Based on those 9 games then we needed to take 22 shots before we scored a goal !!! If we scored in every game we would at least have 9 goals and a conversion rate of 8.1%

If we bought a striker in now is it a case of the board "panic buying" or were they trying to "cheapskate it for a season" when we knew we didn't have enough goals in this team since game 1 and our best goal threat is injury prone. This is the risk they took, its now become an issue and the board either need to pay the consequencies and buy a good striker or run the risk of dalek like ending to the season.
