hahahahahaha i did the exact same thing and thought the same, when does training start 10am - he's finished around 2pm maybe ? suppose if he leaves at 7am its not too bad but nearly 4hrs a day in a car is fucking tough, bet he listens to a lot of podcasts.

12 goals conceded and Baz could of done better with 1 of the Sunderland ones in my opinion where he was unsighted and didn't have strong enough hands, the other 11 were down to.both defensive lapses and excellent goalscoring. Forster was statistical the best goalkeeper in the league for nearly half a season one year but that also wasn't down to the goalie it was down to the fact that big Vic, Morgan, Toby, Fonte, clyne and Bertrand stopped any fucker from getting shots off Instead of just blaming goalies for the end result we should look at the forwards, midfielders and defenders just as much for each one of these goals. I've seen KWP, Bednerak, Manning, Holgate, Edozie just to name a few responsible for goals, left alone the Maginot line aka our midfielders who are just static mannequins when the oppo get the ball. Understand it's frustrating but we should judge players on this season not their last, you might be right over the season of course and I will agree, but no one predicts correctly after 5 games.

He's got Lego hair

Only QPR, Blackburn, Rotherham and Huddersfield have conceded more shots on target than us so far (24) Baz has saved 50% of those shots and of those he hasn't he's had virtually no chance with the majority of them. Also interestingly we have the most yellow cards in the league (21) so something fundamental needs to change defensively to stop shots and giving up yellows to try and stop counter attacks etc.
-
Surely we need to give him this break and probably until nov before we can judge the system and his flexibility with it better, too early to call it flawed at present.

I know it's a long shot (pun intended) but you've used exposed and more than a saints supporter so I'm going for Neil Shipperly. Am I close ?

I would like to know 2 things about our play - all FM experts feel free to share how it works in the game. 1. How do high possession teams create clear cut chances before teams reset and get bodies back - at the moment i think we are stuck in this phase of walking the ball forwards too slowly and then smacking shots/crosses into blockers, i saw pepe say his job is controlling his team for 3/4 of the pitch and then the players do the rest in the final 1/4, are our forwards currently too shit ? 2. How do high possession teams stop counters/quick transitions ? - looking at something i saw the other day i saw a DM drop in with CBs to make a 3 man line and have the 2 inverted wingers as midfielders to be the 1st screen - is this what we are trying to do ? and are we doing it but the CB's not spread wide enough to cover the full backs positions ? Genuinely curious about this, rus if you post please advise.

Ah got you thought it was a bit weird for our fullback as he's not that bad to look at from what i've seen, not good at tracking back quickly but not so much of a easy dribble against.

Deleted as I should of known 2 northerners would not be able to use the correct English to describe a tweet.

Removed it cos disconnect pointed out that the stat was worded incorrectly.

10pts from 5 games is automatic promotion form with a team that's lost and changed lots of players and are playing a new system in a new league. Jason Wilcox, premier league winner, Man City academy director for 10yrs who they didn't want to lose is "supposedly" the expert 🤣
-
He basically picks anyone whose given him a reach around.
-
Let's not damn the man after 5 games, we have 10 points and something that needs to be worked on during the next 2 weeks, also hopefully some better set pieces to be developed. Aside from the defending one thing that I still don't like is the walk the ball.around in the final 3rd giving the oppo time to reset, that needs to change either faster passing or execute better in the transition.
