I remember Sir Bobby Robson was full of praise for him after watching him at Portman Road. Not the most helpful post I've ever made I realise...!

I think we've already proved we can't just throw youngsters in the team with little or no experience. By all means he should be given a chance to be part of the first team squad, but not signing tried and tested players because he *might* be a prospect is a bit much.

It IS true that Bournemouth have been subject to criticism due to their fitness training methods. I've heard that from more than one person lately.

One of the main sports reporters at the Star is a Saints fan.

No wonder you're skint! Theme Hospital has aged a lot better than Theme Park I can assure you. Horribly designed game. Never did play that. Might give it a look, I've been in a retro gaming mood of late.

Yeah tropical flavour is good. My preference is orange, tropical, strawberry in that order. Got no time for the blackcurrant ones.

Well said my friend. Well said. And to you sir. Well said. Fans should do one thing. Support. Not get involved in operational matters. What a ****ing disaster it was when certain people forgot their place.

He's absolutely right. I'm annoyed I have neither the time nor the available money for a season ticket.

Yeah its like that in Bournemouth. I think most nights its because they're looking for cannabis factories with heat seeking cameras. No idea what it was all about earlier but it circled for a good long time.
-
Ah it's alright, **** all on tonight anyway. Not unless you want to watch Miranda talking about biscuits or a Christmas film in July on 5*.

Any Commoners on the forum? Police helicopter has been circling above Church Lane for quite about 20 - 25 minutes now. Anyone heard anything? Not the greatest thread for non CC residents but it's an unusual occurrence for this part of the world.

Jason Puncheon Wants to move down the M27

He lives near Bournemouth, yes. -
The News of the World was a good publication with some very talented people working on it. Newspapers are dead really, and yet they were selling a lot of copy. The only thing wrong with it was its ownership. Please don't forget that fact. A lot of good people are out of work tonight through no fault of their own. Brooks needs to go and the Murdoch family need an arse kicking.

Some of you may remember I quoted a source of mine who said a Championship club had 'secured his services'. I must hold my hands up and say I misquoted him, and he was referring to the bid that we had made - which we were informed a week ago was the only bid on the table. Sorry about that! Given the events of today and the past week I thought I better try and keep some credibility in this profession of mine!

The very original. One of the toughest games I've ever played. Anyone got any advice for making a profit quickly?

Broadcast Journalist. Today is not the greatest days in my trade, grateful I'm not in print...

Thoughts? A lot of my friends are out of work tonight, and they're in the Cape having several drinks. I suggest they stay there for a while.

Get in. That's a brilliant signing. Seven days into July as well. Worth the wait I feel.

Mr. Sibley seems to indicate on Twitter that something is about to happen. Long old day in the office today, but it's all worth it when things finally come together. EDIT: Scoobysaint, you are a speedy so and so!

Cheers guys. It's a difficult one, I don't have the money to relocate and commuting is out of the question, but it is a 12 month contract (two days a week) and the experience would be invaluable. I'm keen to work somewhere a bit busier - ideally London, so Hereford and Worcestershire is a tad different!
-
Bit of a random question, but anyone live in the area or have spent some time there? I'm considering a job at the BBC over there. It's only part time but a year's fixed contract so I'm going to have to think it over quite carefully. Any feedback on the place would be great.

Rory Delap's overhead kick against Spurs. Shame it used up his career's supply of flair and talent.
-
I have a feeling it's going to involve Oxo, as delldays said earlier.

Was he the one that cried as the national anthem was played? Great story that. Could be that he was distraught to find himself in the starting line up. Each chance he fails to put away results in a finger or toe being cut off.
