Don't get me wrong, I'm not in a mood over it or anything, I just didn't think it was that good, that's all. I would also question the reaction on here if they'd done it first.

Point out to me where he's said 'Lallana has told me he's leaving.' I believe he said something along the lines of a source with connections to the club told him he's going and we should see how it pans out. He never at any point said the player told him he was going anywhere, nor that he believed the source for that matter.

It's a shame that all journalists that report potential bad news are full of sh*t according to popular SaintsWeb opinion. 50-50 chance you know. He either goes or doesn't.

Start of the season he was very good. He got injured and upon his return it took him a while to get back in form, meanwhile Jack Cork was doing very well. It's not a mystery really, is it? Happens quite a lot in football.

Difficult one, Chamakh. Holds a record for Champions League goals (I think by a player at a French club, and when you consider that was Bordeaux...) yet has never looked any good when I've seen him. I know two or three Palace season ticket holders and they all agree he's a waste of space a lot of the time, always going down for free kicks when he's never going to get them, not running enough, etc.

To say I expect more of him is an understatement - particularly when he gets onside and rather than cushion the ball down, takes it in the face and falls over. I defended him early on as I felt he was the victim of unfair expectation when he signed, but he's had ample opportunity to prove himself and in my view, not done it.

I honestly mistook Altidore for a defender in the 1 - 1 draw way back at the start of the season.

This is brilliant - they'll appoint Awford full-time and by next season it'll have worn off. They'll hire and fire again a couple of times and be right back where they are now this time next season.

What was the point in crossing anyway? Cardiff were so comfortable heading them all away it made the exercise entirely pointless. We had a big Jay Rodriguez-shaped hole in our team today, if we couldn't threaten Cardiff from crosses we needed to try running at them - Jay would have been the one to do it. Big miss.

Really feel for him. He was looking better with each game and he may never have a better chance of going to a World Cup. I wish him a speedy recovery and look forward to seeing him back in action in October/November.
