  1. Is this a signing of Koeman's or a result of the black box?
  2. I've had funnier stays in hospital than that.
  3. Portsmouth FC official history, as told by the bestest: Won the league before it was cool to do so Had the FA Cup longer than anyone else, not because of the war or anything Beat Southampton by three goals on two occasions, the only two times they ever played them, and so are therefore the better of the two clubs Won the FA Cup again through sheer handwork and determination, not using money that was never there Treated despicably by the football authorities and deducted points on a few occasions for no apparent reason Fans take ownership of the club, well sort of
  4. I look forward to his return. Wherever there is someone who needs to know pointless information about a video game or training ground plans, there is but one man for the job...
  5. Wow. He even ruins threads like these. Goes without saying I hope CC makes a full recovery as quickly as possible.
  6. God I hate Gus Poyet.
  7. ADO Den Haag legend for me on Football Manager, albeit about nine years ago.
  8. He keeps jabbing at it and missing, hand-eye co-ordination has gone a bit...
  9. It was very good today, I certainly noticed it in the build-up to the second goal. Everton's fans by contrast may as well have not turned up, silent throughout.
  10. John W Henry is not a poor man, and given how he made his absolute killing on Wall Street, not a stupid man either. I fail to feel sorry for him or them.
  11. As I've said before, it would have been incredibly embarrassing if the Premier League had a club in it that went bust. They were never going to allow it to happen. As for non-league, no embarrassment there. No spotlight.
  12. I'm not a gambling man but quite willing to bet they won't make the play-offs.
  13. I did a search on Twitter for Lovren after he was substituted against the bucket rattlers... Amazing reaction. Never seen so many people happy to have their own player injured!
  14. Circumstances are irrelevant, it's disgusting, if true. I've been less than impressed with a minority of our fans lately. There have been a number of incidents that have made me question if it's worth going to games if it means enduring poor behaviour by others.
  15. He also name checked us post-match which was nice of him. Along the lines of 'look at what happened to them.'
  16. If I recall, Razer was by a team from Bournemouth.
  17. Nah we need Gaston Ramirez back, he'll solve all our problems.
  18. Souness and Redknapp seem to think that a Bournemouth fan has blown a whistle which has distracted Tommy Elphick for the second goal. Bournemouth are a professional club right? How very amateur.
  19. Ah the old 'I've been a fan longer than you' debate. Classic. I've really missed these moments.
  20. Probably because half their fan base (those from Bosombe) are scousers.
  21. Rattle those buckets!
  22. Reminds me of when one of their two or three supporters accused us of schadenfreude when we laughed at their financial problems. Yeah because it's not as if they didn't do the same with us, or rubbed it in when we were relegated in 2005. Nope, not at all...
  23. I realise the thread title is about travel fares, but I've thought about football refunds in general for a while now. I think of it this way - if you buy a lottery ticket and none of your numbers come up, a bad result, do you ask for your money back? No. It was a bad performance, but no one is entitled to see a certain performance or a result just because they've paid a sum of money. It's the nature of the game. To use another analogy, would you ask for your money back if you went to a gig and it wasn't as good as you had hoped?
  24. Fair point. What made me laugh is the amount of people that said they 'couldn't accept the ending'... What, just like Tony couldn't? Oh dear...
