Where is Mental Le Ill these days?
-
I see your point but I don't think a Forecast-Lee comparison is particularly useful or fair for a variety of reasons.

I was at Marchwood watching Saints U18 v Millwall U18 once and a bloke there didn't even try to hide the fact he was an agent. On the phone the whole time going 'yeah we'll have him and him, I've got his parents here so we can chat.' Then there's the stories about Liverpool scouts being escorted away by security when they were at the gates of the training ground trying to get Bale.

I liked what I saw of him in the Championship, love how everyone says he's not Premier League quality when they've not seen him play in it. I think his injury cost him dearly, but he is perhaps one of a number of deadwood players we should have shifted last year. Might have made it easier to make more signings in the two transfer windows, especially with limited registrations. Doubt he'll play for us again, the loan will probably become or lead to a permanent deal in the future. Should that be the case, I thank him for his contribution and wish him well.

Unlikely. More the job of the commercial team.

Yes. Let's also bring back Tom Hark when we score goals and allow Turkish to sell foam hands outside the stadium. Delighted to see that the half and half scarves are all the rage too - I've always wanted a Southampton-Norwich City scarf.

40 and I was a bit generous with one or two games.

Nigel made a big deal of the fact that Lallana never went out on loan, stayed here and won a place. Same with JWP methinks. Oh wait.

I was working for Sky on the night Huhne retained his seat in Eastleigh. Huhne was an incredibly arrogant man and I also had an altercation with his PA, who is a sour-faced *****. I then later found out they were having an affair. I wouldn't trust any politician, but especially not one who leaves his wife for a woman with all the charm and aesthetics of an unwashed scrotum.

Another great tactical showing from Pochettino

I'm not sure I can agree with the statement 'we were simply sensational' when we've gone behind, and when we have taken the lead, we've lost it. -
Wigan 2-2 SAINTS /// Post-Match Reactions

How? He's absolutely right. We're not winning games and we could be in the bottom three soon. How are they dramatic statements? -
Wigan 2-2 SAINTS /// Post-Match Reactions

So. When we were looking more defensively capable than ever under Adkins, we sack him. We then concede two goals from nothing but shoddy defending under Pochettino. I said his appointment would set us back, and so far, I'm not wrong. Two points from nine. We do not have the luxury of time to get used to a new manager. -
This is utter bull****. Wigan doing the double over us? ****ing hell.
-
Do they do job lots?

This is my investigation. It's not a public inquiry.

From one mad owner to another. Good one. Forest fans are already fed up with the turbulence that inevitably follows people taking over that don't know what they're doing.
-
If someone can perform brain surgery on him and take out whatever makes him think 'I can take on five players at once', that'd help too.

Christ on a bike... I've no idea why some people love to exaggerate. 'Love to hate' is a bit strong. I don't 'love to hate' any player, no matter how bad I think they are. I want every player to play for us to be a success. De Ridder just wasn't successful, and it's not as if he didn't have chances. He was victim of unjustified hype when someone decided to dig out his YouTube compilation.
-
'Touch of a rapist' is how I heard him described by a well informed Bolton fan...
-
De Ridder is gone, if only for a month. I hope no one on the Bolton forums have been studying his YouTube compliations. They'll be disappointed. Didn't they also get Rasiak from us?
-
I must say I never saw him in his glory years, but it just occurs to me that the Premier League has evolved so he might look as good now. Just speculating. Was thinking this the other day. It says a lot about the state of the Club back then that we gave him so many chances and waited as long as we did. With hindsight it was perfectly obvious he'd never come back anywhere near his best, if at all.
-
Indeed, and it baffles me he gets near it. If he decided one day not to try and beat four men and then attempt a cross, he might be a decent Championship winger. As it is, round one, round two, third closes in, cross attempted, hits defender and is cleared.

Would we notice?
