  1. It's like watching the machines get smarter and start to take over in the Terminator. Where has this intelligence suddenly come from?
  2. They really didn't. It was a poor game on behalf of both teams, not least Bristol City who to be honest, are looking good for relegation. They're an extremely arrogant club and I can say that having dealt directly with people who work for them. They're also seriously deluded in thinking they're a big club just because Colin Sexstone or whoever it is throws a few quid at them when they need it. As for the people who follow Bristol City, I only know one supporter and he's not the greatest example of humankind if ever there was such a thing.
  3. Thank God that's over. Dunt ave to lisun t'Rowvers playur evuh agen.
  4. I'm listening via Rovers Player or whatever it is, and it's ridiculous. Worst commentary I've ever heard. "Got anything noted down about the game so far?" "No. Anything else you want to ask?" "Fine, be like that" Reading have had a header cleared off the line, Donny sound lively though.
  5. £9.50 for a ticket to see Skates v Brizzle. With the £63 I paid for tickets for Portsmouth, including the Doncaster ticket, I could have had nearly seven tickets to their relegation six pointer, and yet they're nowhere near selling out. Some of the worst fans ever. That's just fact.
  6. Considered buying a Red Sox jersey with my name on it last night. Starting at $100? Yeah right.
  7. Going to be pessimistic on this one. Another 1 - 1 draw at the Den.
  8. The @officialpompey account is in no position to argue either. They once referred to us as 'scummers', and the last time I checked, 'scum' was an offensive word. You'd never get Saints calling them 'skates'.
  9. He's entitled to his opinion.
  10. It's good for the club. Unlike supporters with minds like yours.
  11. Hmm. Paper are risking it big time if they're saying he did without concrete proof. Then again I doubt he's smart enough to understand defamation and libel.

Even if it is a foul, Lambert has scored countless goals doing that, and a good defender should know what to do and how to deal with a threat like that. He didn't, he cost his side a goal. We played Watford at St. Mary's earlier this season and David Mirfin had the better of Lambert for most of the afternoon, and I don't imagine he's all that good, but still knows what he's doing when it comes to marking a good, powerful striker. As for 'weakening the skates', that is possibly the worst argument for buying a player I've ever heard. Who cares about them? As much as I don't like them, I'd rather focus on us getting promoted with quality players. Cover? Martin is doing a fine job when called upon. I'm not saying our squad is perfect by any means but no, I wouldn't have Pearce here. He's also quite prone to being caught out of position, I saw that a fair few times in League Two, especially in October 2009 when Bournemouth got done 4 - 0 by Rochdale. That performance will stay in my memory for a long time. If we want cover, and are serious about getting promoted and staying in the top flight, we need to be looking at better players than Jason Pearce.
  13. Sorry, did he actually start the fire?
  14. He gave a very detailed answer to Tony Husband but the magic of television means you'll only hear a brief clip. He was very complimentary indeed about us. I reckon Keith Hill wouldn't have been as polite in defeat had he been present.

Yeah you do have a point. I'd like to think if we were to look for a centre half (and I believe 100% that it's a wind up, no question) then we'd be looking for much better than Jason Pearce. I also don't think the way our club works these days that we go in for short term loans. I could be wrong of course but I just don't see us doing it. Bournemouth fans go on and on about how something like seven of their best players were taken away from them and they're suffering as a result. I don't think any one of those seven would get into our first team. Shwan Jalal, who's still there, was for me the best goalkeeper in League Two in their promotion season. Under Lee Bradbury in League One, he can't get a game.

He's not very good. Was good for Bournemouth in League Two, I saw him week in and week out, League One not too bad. Championship? Look at the way Lambert left him on his arse for the goal at Fratton. Comprehensively outmuscled. Wouldn't want him here at all, especially when Fonte and Hooiveld are fit, healthy and racking up the clean sheets.
  17. I've sent you a PM - forgot to mention it's an adult ticket. EDIT: Just realised you wanted Northam/Kingsland corner, I'm afraid mine is block 30. Apologies.
  18. Poor springball results for the Red Sox against the Pirates and Cards. Disappointing.
  19. His fan club will feature on The Football League Show and/or the highlights on the BBC website. Spotted them drawing their signs up before the game, got them on camera and then found them again in the stadium! Thought they were brilliant, even stayed behind at full time to keep the remaining fans singing Tadanari's name.
  20. You've got it. Police request.
  21. Hawkeye is based in Colden Common. They have looked into goal line technology and yes it has been tested at St. Mary's for FIFA - I happen to know someone on the team that installed it.
  22. Thinking of starting a portfolio Mr. Buctootim?
  23. Quelle ****ing surprise. Steam isn't working and I can't update.
  24. Sheffield United did.
  25. This is most likely. It's not so much a case of 'load of cameras' - just the BBC outside broadcast team they send down to cover live matches. It'll be the same as broadcasting a live game, just not on TV, over here at least. In which case a foreign broadcaster will be picking that feed up and broadcasting it on one of their channels and someone will naturally put it online.
