http://www.football-italia.net/16951/piacenza-declared-bankrupt An Italian club with a long, long history, a lot of it in the top flight, goes out of business. Who says we're going to be disappointed? It can happen to anyone, and I'll bet Piacenza achieved more than Portsmouth.

You're going to take Paul Merson's word for it are you? The former drug addict and alcoholic? The man accused of rape? Yeah okay then, takes one to know one I guess.

Hit the post and bar, were getting a fair few crosses into our box first half.

Barnsley didn't play for a draw, they got forward a good few times before we settled down. Second half was all ours, admittedly, but I don't think you can say they played for a draw.

Are we still unpleasant club to deal with?

Chants/songs to the tune of 'I Wanna Go Home'

Didn't realise it was as many as that! Glad I'm not alone. -
You and me both.

Didn't mean it like that. We're very hospitable to the press, Bournemouth just aren't. -

Can only pass on what I personally know Steve. Compared to what I've seen at other clubs like Bournemouth, especially. -

In my experience, no. The press are very well looked after by the Club. We're not as bad as Bournemouth, either way. http://www.bournemouthecho.co.uk/sport/9601646.Cherries__Echo_banned_by_football_club/ I find this hilarious. I used to work alongside their 'Media Executive'. -
Yep, think so too. I think Brizzle, Donny and the Skates are for the drop.

I've read a lot of posts on here complaining about lyrics to chants and songs. On the whole I'm not bothered. What I AM sick of however is 'we're top of the league, we're top of the leeeeeague' and then hearing the Lallana song, as well as 'XYZ is a **** hole, I want to go home' all done to the same bloody tune. In case you're unfamiliar with what I'm talking about, check this link: A friend of mine recently asked if I was sick of hearing chants and songs at football matches sung to this tune. I didn't know what he meant, as I didn't know it was an actual tune or song in particular. Even then I never imagined it would originally be a Beach Boys song. When he showed me that link above, I instantly recognised it (from this season only, I have to say) and I completely agree. It's gotten to the point where it's ****ing awful. The only times I can think of it being funny or at least a little bit original was when we told Bournemouth we didn't care about them and 'We're coming for you' at home to Walsall last season. I'd never tell people what they can and can't sing or what they can and can't sing to, that's basically communism, and no one would listen anyway. It's just me, ranting on a forum, so who cares. But when it's the basis of just about every bloody thing we chant? Please. We're not the only fans who do it obviously, but it's annoying when I know we can do a hell of a lot better. The Tadanari Lee song for example is pretty good. Does anyone else feel the same way? I'm sure I'm not the only one. I'm not in any way opposed to people singing and chanting etc, and I'd never try and say some fans are better than others for doing something or not doing something, but I do think it's about time we moved away from that tune as it's just so worn out. Oh and rant over. Sorry.

A lot is made of Lambert knocking them in at one end of the field - takes a hell of a keeper and some decent defenders to keep them out at the other. One man team? B0ll0cks.

In case anyone was wondering, this is what we're meant to be talking about:

Announce trailer came out last week. Hard to reach a conclusion from it, but by the sounds of things they're going to simplify which is music to my ears. SimCity 4 was way too difficult, didn't think Rush Hour added much and in general unless you were uber into it, you were never going to make a successful city. In fact, it wasn't just a city, that's the trouble, you had to make regions to make individual cities thrive. Probably won't be out until next year and I'd be surprised if it looks as good as that.

Hmm. Not entirely clear then.

Why, what's he done?

Kenny Deuchar is the holder I think with six.

Just imagine if they'd built that stadium. The debt would be a lot bigger, the administration would have happened a lot sooner and their attendances would look even worse.

This.

The BBC won't say anything unless it's 100% confirmed. Sky Sports News are happy to run rumours and speculation, such is the nature of sports news television - without rumour and speculation, they've not much to report. Sky News, different to Sky Sports News, is kind of similar to the BBC in their stance. To give you an example, on July 7th 2005 when the London bombings were taking place, a Sky News correspondent, not on duty, was walking towards Tavistock Square and saw with his own eyes the bus explode. He rang up to get put on air and Sky centre said no as there had been no official confirmation of it - despite the correspondent being a few hundred yards from it and seeing it himself.
