Well Bertrand has been back in training for 2weeks.....nowhere near the squad and a saleable asset. Wouldn’t surprise me at all. Either way...we are playing s game of Russian roulette with the outgoings,and feasibly not having any incomings in blatantly lightweight areas. We may have differing opinions on the out going players importance to the squad,but we would be decisively weaker. And all for a fairly insignificant financial saving compared to relegation. I would hate to disappoint you. Christ we still having a ****fest over this bloke. He’s been truly atrocious up until the last few games....how long ago did he leave saints exactly. He floundered in the big games for us and during subsequent tenures he’s been a abject failure. He was the luckiest manager to have a fantastic squad in both league one and the championship...and we finished second both times. That is failure with what he had at his disposal. And his ridiculous analogy’s were ****e.here is one in comparison to the ‘bus’.....he had a Bentley at his disposal,but he drove it (us) like a mondeo. Probably a lovely bloke I’m sure...but average at his job at best. I appreciate we got promoted under him,I really do....but that was the minimum he should’ve achieved anyway. I will use the term alleged for the following. After the 5-1 defeat to Spurs,and during the subsequent weeks that followed Fraser succumbed to a ‘ complete breakdown’ shall we call it. A relationship with a fellow ‘employee’ of SFC ended also which compounded the issue. He was not in a good place at all. During the summer he was offered contracts by varying clubs...some baulked at his wage demands,but it was apparent to some,and by him,that he was in no fit state to consider a move let alone being in the spotlight of playing for some considerable time. We showed a bit of gusto against an Arsenal side that was depleted in defence. We squeaked past them. Then just held on to best an appealing Huddersfield. Nothing has changed. So many individual errors,our passing is utter ****e. Lemina is just terrible. Armstrong tried but he was carrying the rest of them. The second goal for them was a clear penalty just prior. The refereeing in general was diabolical. We looked as though we reverted to type....slow and ponderous. Loads of work to do for Ralph. Major work to be done in the transfer window if possible.
