At least Lowe has some brass, even if he is a complete t*sser! Cowen is an old school chum of Lowe and he has, in effect, supported and kept him at the club so I’d not see any benefit for managerial changes. To be fair, it’s all too late. Digressing slightly – I was pondering this morning (as you do) about company assets. I wondered, do transferrable assets need to be declared if you’re under a PLC structure?! Maybe our business types could help. I am talking about key assets – land and property. Despite having no knowledge whatsoever about football, Lowe does understand contractual law and has some business savvy (football club, credit card companies, radio stations and entertainment industry aside). Southampton has key assets like Staplewood, Jacksons Farm, The Academy, Property for temporarily housing new players, etc. Lowe will be well aware of this. Ignoring some totally unsubstantiated rumours I have heard, would it be possible for Lowe to transfer assets away from the main body of SLH, into another owned company so it was protected from administration?! I am hoping not and it would surely need to be declared to the LSE but the law always has loop holes and no-one is better at dodging, dividing and diving than the effervescent Rupert Lowe. It would tie in with a lot of ongoing concerns I had, back to his largely muted tenure, twinned with a possibly murky and surreptitious agenda (but this could be pure hypothetical nonsense on my part for which, if wrong, I apologise). God help our club.

Heard the same thing, something like a 50% cut and reduced duration to a year or something like that (minus appearance fee) I think the treatment of the senior pros has been nothing short of disgraceful. Still, our board hold most people in contempt so why quit while you're behind?!

Very true and I formely worked beside a local councillor but I don't intend a career change. I respect your point, no point moaning if you don't make effort for change but I feel, through my life and dual professions, I've contributed to Southampton significantly. However, in the unlikely event of me retraining and if I was (un)lucky enough to become a prominent councillor, with SCC I'd probably be p*ssing in the wind!

Whilst I admire your positive outlook and words, you lost it for me on "superb city". Well, I'm glad you like it but have you lived here long? I've lived in Southampton my entire life and it's gone to the dogs. Like our forlorn club, It's a city waiting for something good to happen, it has so much potential, it promises, but never delivers. I'm tired of waiting and being let down, both by club and council & city planners. On the positive, I'm glad SLH shares are falling. Whilst I feel sorry for Leon and the genuine share holders, the others (Wilde, Lowe, Askham, Richards, Wiseman, etc.) - I hope they lose the f*ckin lot!

What evidence do you have to suggest Crouch was worse than Lowe? CRAZY! Some people shouldn't drink so much at Xmas!!

Maybe a couple of freak results (Reading, Derby, etc.) but we've been in terminal trouble ages and now is time to protest, rebel, stand up and say "we will take no more of this sh*t". We love this club, they do not. We need to fight and show these self-serving a*seholes that they're not bigger than a club. They have a strangehold on Saints but we need to go out with a fight before they choke the last gasps of hope from our lungs! If you don't want 90mins of "Lowe/Wilde out" then maybe you should hope for a better, more competent chairman...or another club as this one if being killed off by the renown failure, Lowe (and puppet Wilde), than no-one wanted (by a few mentalists on here) to return. Proves all our warning were right. Maybe more should have listened!
