  1. 8yo. 2nd year with a season ticket. 1st game was a pre-season at Cheltenham.
  2. I'm confident of a win so therefore we will lose. Years since I've been to Huddersfield and it's the nippers 1st away game of the season.
  3. What a very strange thing to say. Actually the man is incredibly generous and is very grateful to be in the position he is so to be able to help out family and friends.
  4. Black? These are better.
  5. It's the fact that the risk taking wasn't in fact risk taking as they knew if things went pear shaped Mr & Mrs Tax Payer would bail them out. I'd gamble my house if I knew that if I lost someone else would be picking up the tab and I'd be keeping my house regardless.
  6. The short term-ism of the bonus culture in The City is what's brought the country to its knees as it led to a recklessness that was verging on the criminal. My best mate (posts on here as well) works for Bank of New York, earns huge bonuses every year, is as red as they come and even he admits that he can only see as far as his next bonus. Until that conundrum is solved the problems will remain. The simple undeniable fact is that the banks are more powerful than the government and have got away scot free, as have those bankers in The City that got us into the mess in the 1st place.
  7. Most of the skate banning orders, 50 odd IIRC, were from their riot after they played us at FP. The banning orders dished out after the last derby game are yet to be included.
  8. If anyone would like to use my season ticket details to get cheap tickets then you are more than welcome. PM Baj or Granty for my contact email as no £5 = no PM.
  9. In the case of an online purchase, such as the tickets, the Distance Selling Regulations apply and you are entitled to return any item, regardless, with in 7 days for a refund. So, LS could return the tickets, get a refund and then re-purchase tickets at the new rate. http://news.bbc.co.uk/1/hi/magazine/8253915.stm
  10. I was delighted when he was appointed and I'm still delighted. He's a young, bright, hungry manager who plays football the right way. There will be ups and downs along the way but I'm confident we'll go up under Adkins.
  11. 2 adults and 3 kids heading over the M62.
  12. Bless the little cherries scamps. They are so desperate for us to be their rivals and we really don't give a fat rats @rse about them. It must be so hard for them being treated like a sweet, but simple cousin at a family wedding. A playful ruffle of the hair and a "aaahhh, bless", from those assembled before they go on to talk about the important things and the simple cousin is left sat smiling at the throng whilst clutching his Dr Who doll.
  13. He's gone, rightly or wrongly but some people seem as obsessed with him as Dalek is about Hoddle . Get a grip ladies.
  14. I thought us total and utterly dominate and professional today. Excellent both with and without the ball. Best I've seen for quite a while
  15. Well, aren't they excited bless them. Maybe they'll be able to youtube their singing again as it's their cup final. The little scamps.
  16. So you can't bring yourself to say that paedophilia is wrong? With that attitude I would hope that you have no access to children. Ever.
  17. ADHD is a label too readily thrown about in educational circles, much like dyslexia. Those who are genuinely suffering are often lost in the mass of those who simply wish to pin a label onto the fact that they are, in the case of ADHD, poorly parented sh*ts or, in the case of dyslexia, simply have very poor literacy skills. The same rule of thumb can also be used to the "autism spectrum".
  18. In future, £0.00 It's now a very poor site and not worth £5 of my money.
  19. Pardew has gone. Get over it and move on with your life before you turn into a ex-manager obsessed oddball as that position is already taken by dalek.
  20. Saints win and the tory scum will be out at the next election, a good day indeed.
  21. Not a chance. They'll be out next time around.
  22. The heard, they just didn't believe. The Saturday before the election I had a long chat with the Liberal candidate and he was convinced, even then, that there was no way "his" party would get in bed with the tories. Strange world is politics.
  23. Don't get uppity just because your party sold its soul. The truth is that Labour has avoided an implosion and come the next election it will be a straight two horse race between the Tories and Labour.
  24. I accept that and I'm basing my assumption from those I know who shifted from Labour to Liberal last time and are no fuming. Good friend of mine is a Liberal councillor in Staffordshire and he was waiting to hear Clegg speak before making his final decision whether to cross the floor as a number already have. My wife switched from Labour to Liberal (the Brown effect) and is fuming at what's happened, she feels conned, and she's not alone in that I would suggest. They've bet the house on blue.
  25. Real thicky, what with him having been Chief Economist at Shell 'n all.
