I'm wondering if Burley could be tempted back here now the old regime are gone. He got us into the playoffs in a division higher let's not forget.

O'Neill would be a fantastic appointment obviously but I can't see it really happening. As far as I'm concerned there's only one person Cortese should be on the phone to now and that's Tommy Widdrington. The only man who would make up for the disappointment of losing Pardew and I know I'm not alone on this.

FC Thun and Reading are both of a higher standard than us and put 4 past us. I fail to see how getting an even bigger dicking pre season would have helped. We are in League one, to this day people seem to forget that. As Pardew says, it was primarily about fitness.

They say the bookies are rarely wrong but to have us as odds on champions seems ridiculous watching us play. I'd be happy with 6th right now, this is far from a great team.

Why do you all constantly try and guess the attendance of the game before it happens? The exact figure will be printed AFTER the game, this has always been the case.

All I'm saying is that people shouldn't be surprised at a higher police presence or a change of tactics this season. They have stated they were going to do it and are doing so.

Didn't the club/police state they were having a zero tolerance policy for Saints fans this season? It was in the Echo I'm sure, so they have pre-warned everyone.
