It seems to me Stu that if what your saying is correct then the police have changed tactics for a reason. Hooliganism has blighted football in this country for over 30 years with not a great deal changing other than cctv in the grounds. If the long term strategy is to get those who cause trouble out of the equation then surely what the police do now is a brilliant plan from thier point of view. As others have said on this thread, it's really not that hard to go to a game of football and come home without having been arrested or filmed commiting an offence. Pomey games or not.

It should be decresead if anything. It's almost like giving a club some sort of reward for being relegated. Sorry, but you should have played better. If you can't sustain your premiership wage bill after relegation then sell the players and buy CCC standard ones that you can afford to pay.

Although the music isn't to everyone's taste, for me Jazz world is the nicest area of the festival to spend some time. Sitting in the sun under the flags having a beer. It's also the best bar as well.
