I think it's fairly safe bet that Saints won't pick up points from either fixture against Charlton next season. You can add two P*mpey fixtures to that and if Martin goes to Leicester then that's 6 points down the toilet too. Will Still has got a massive job on his hands and I don't think he has the experience required. I genuinely hope he proves me wrong but I can see a bottom half finish next season.

Not arsed about Rohl or with the obsession with trying to find the next genius young coach. If they're any good then they'll only get snapped up after a season or two. That would probably suit SR's business model of trying to make a huge profit from every appointment. Let's just go for someone with a bit of experience who can do a job in the championship. Cooper or Dyche would be fairly safe bets. If they want someone younger then I guess I'd go for Rosenior or Carsley but I doubt either would come.

I've just read that David Wagner is on the shortlist. This wouldn't surprise me at all. Another piss poor SR appointment. Wagner took Norwich from being a top 6 Championship side to mid-table mediocrity. Have a look at what Norwich fans thought of him. He's not the answer for Saints so be prepared for his arrival. 😂

Having thought about this for a couple of weeks I think I'd like to see Lee Carsley as our next manager. Of all the options, I think he would be the most stable choice.

I think he has the potential to be very good in the Championship, if managed correctly. From his perspective, he's come to a team where he thought he'd be one of the first names on the team sheet and that hasn't been the case. He hasn't helped himself but then he's had two awful managers that haven't really played the way that suits him. Chuck in a load of behind the scenes upheaval and it's not hard to see why he's unhappy. Pretty much every player in that squad has underperformed this season so he's not alone. A settled manager could make all the difference.

I could see those twats turning us over twice next season. You just know that Charlton will beat us if they come up and also Norwich if they appoint RM. 😩

Just reading some of the SWFC forum pages. A lot of fans feel that Rohl is overrated and want him gone.

I think it made a huge difference! Ultimately, it got him out and led to Markus taking over.

In all honestly, I’m beyond caring. if we had a board with ambition and showed that they know what theyre doing then I’d be optimistic. However, I’m expecting another very average appointment that will no doubt include Adam Lallana as part of the set up. My money is on Danny Rohl.

You only had to look at his track record to see that it was a bizzare appointment that lacked any ambition. If that was the best option (which it wasn't at the time) then they should have just kept RM.

Thank God for that. Hate to say it but I did try and warn you when he was appointed. As usual, I was met with the same old response from the usual mob. I was aware of Juric when he was linked with Saints in the past. I'd done my homework and translated many comments about him from supporters of his past clubs, and news articles about his poor conduct and bad relationships with players. There's plenty of material out there and very little of it is positive. If I was able to find out so much about him then how did our joke of a board not have alarm bells ringing? The signs were there to see but a collection of idiots still went ahead and gave him the job. I don't know why I'm surprised really. They're the same idiots who employed Nathan Jones and Russell Martin.

Look at what Moyes has done at Everton. Thats the difference a manager makes, even when your players are supposedly shit. A proper manager would get every one of those players performing.

The manager is there to motivate and dictate the style of play. Our manager (and I use that term very loosely) hasn't motivated anybody and clearly doesn't know what he's doing when it comes to a style of play. Russell Martin lost his job because he refused to.change his ways but at least he had a system. This prick hasn't got a bloody clue. Just look at the defence and midfield tonight against Chelsea. He's taken the group backwards. How can you expect players to perform when they're given Ivan Juric as a manager?

If I were Ivan Juric, which thank God I'm not, I'd be man enough to have my notice on the desk in the morning and I'd walk away insisting that the club don't pay up my contract. If he had any integrity that's what he'd do.

What do you expect? If you were a player and you had to go to work every day knowing that Ivan Juric was going to be there, what would you do? You'd switch off. His appointment did nothing for the players. Imagine knowing you were going to get a new manager at work and then coming in to find him there - A relatively unknown Croatian with a bad reputation for man management. His appointment shows no inspiration. He hasn't brought the group closer together, he's divided it further. He has to go. The damage he's doing is going to impact the club for years. Saints won't be in a position to compete in The Championship next season. Do you think Shea Charles and Ronnie Edwardd will want to come back to this when they're both very settled elsewhere and playing good football. The job of a manager is to motivate the players. You can't expect them to perform if they're being led by a clown.

Juric, you clueless wanker. If you've got anything about you then you'll walk into St. Mary's tomorrow morning and put your notice on the desk. I only say this because the board haven't got the bollocks to sack you. In the short time you've been at the club you've shown nothing to make anyone think that you capable of managing this team.
