  1. Fuck me. We are so shit. Will Still.... Just a shit Ivan Juric. Should've done what was needed to get Rohl. At least he knows this league. Another shite appointment by SR.
  2. Exactly. Just remind me of NJ, which sends a shiver down my spine. At least WS doesn't seem to be as deluded as NJ was. I don't understand why the board didn't get a manager with experience. It's another gamble and is no doubt based on making money, in that if WS is a success and a big club comes in for him then there'll be a payout.
  3. I think it's slowly becoming clear that SR has taken the cheap option and it's going to backfire, again. I'm not saying he should be sacked, just that I've seen nothing from him that makes me think he's a 'master tactician' and 'one of Europe's best young coaches'. Just disappointed that Saints didn't go and get a manager with some Championship experience.
  4. I think anyone would have been better than this bag of wind. He's all talk.
  5. Still waiting for the so called 'Tactical genius' to show up. If he's one of Europe's top tacticians then football is f*cked. We'd have been better just appointing a manager with experience at this level. Pretty confident that Dyche or Wilder would have us top 6 at this point. From what I've seen so far we'll be lucky to finish in the top half of the table. To add insult to injury, they've spent about £40m and we look no better.
  6. What happened to Will Still being one of the top tacticians in Europe? I'm yet to see any evidence. 🙄
  7. We're getting fuck all today, which is exactly what we deserve based on the performance so far. Same old Saints. Still shit!
  8. 6/10. We replaced the players we sold with reasonable replacements but I don't think we've addressed the glaring issues. We needed a keeper, a CB and a striker and didn't sign any of them. Well, we signed a keeper who's worse than what we already have, which is quite some achievement! That signing makes no sense at all! Maybe, Still feels that all these attacking midfielders are going to provide the goals so didn't see the need for a striker? Why he hasn't addressed our defensive issues is a mystery. We've been throwing away the lead in games for years. It should have been the first thing that was addressed and I don't think it has been. We won't finish top 6!
  9. Bring Charlie Taylor on for Edwards and go to 4 at the back. Get Fraser or Armstrong on in place of BBD.
  10. Fuck me, we're so shit! We're gonna need an experienced striker. Downes is never going to be the solution. Just get Romeu and Ings in. They're the sort of thing that's needed at this level.
  11. As predicted. Getting beaten by the only team I hate as much as P****y. This is a new all time low for me. 😡
  12. Been saying for weeks that we don't have the players required and don't look anywhere near ready. This sums it up. There's no way we'll beat those Welsh c**ts next week.
  13. We've got rid of loads! We're a week away from the start of the season and we haven't exactly set the world on fire with new signings, infact, this summer feels just like last summer in that we haven't bought what's needed, again!
  14. "We have a good Championship squad". Yeah, if you're expecting a mid-table finish. That's not a squad capable of a top 6 finish! Our squad is bang-average. It's lacking a sold rock of a midfielder. An experienced CB. A creative midfielder and a winger. I'm not conviced we'got what's needed up front either. There's a complete lack of experience across the entire squad. You need a few old wise heads who've been around a bit. I'd rather see Nathan Wood staring ahead of Stephens, but Jack seems to know where the bodies are buried and somehow that gets him in the starting 11 every week, despite him being a complete liability.
  15. 1. That's a team that's got mid-table written all over it. 2. Have you seen Bazunu's pre-season performances?
  16. I genuinely hope they prove me wrong but I don't see Archer or Stewart scoring more than 10 or 12 goals.
  17. I keep seeing reports that say Southampton and Leicester will run away with the Championship this season. Am I the only one who thinks that with the current squad we'll be luck to finish top 10? We've sold a lot but where's the new signings? To get out of the Championship you need far more experience than saints have. Our midfield look lightweight, again. People seem to be moving Wrexham for some of their signings but £2m for Conor Coady seems like a reasonable bit of business to me. He's certainly a better option than Jack Stephens.
  18. He shouldn't be anywhere near the first team. He's a liability. Nathan Wood would do a better job!
  19. Iain Dowie sat at the table next to me in Pizza Hut on Middlebrook Retail Park, which is right next to Bolton's ground. He was Oldham manager at the time.
  20. What prick decided that 2 shades of red was a good idea? It makes it look like there's been a problem during manufacturing. One again, what started out as a good idea has turned out to look piss poor in reality.
  21. Mid-table. 11th or 12th. Had to laugh when I saw the super computer has predicted that Saints will win the league. 😂
  22. Yeah, that looked shit too. Look at the puma logo. You can only see part of it. The white logo vanishes against the white part of the shirt. Either move it so it sits in the red stripe or make it black so that it stands out against the red and white.
  23. No it doesn't. You can see that the material is slightly creased because of the way he's sitting. If you look closely you can see that the stripe continues further down. It's just the angle and the way the shirt is sitting that makes it look like the stripe stops.
  24. What idiot decided that the saints badge and the Puma logo looked better bridging the red and white stripes rather then being set in the red stripe? Once again the mock-up looks better than the real thing.
  25. I'm the same. I can't stand the Premier League. The worst thing about The Championship is that the reward for doing well is promotion into the Prem. 😕 Feyenoord - My wife is Dutch and most of her family are Feyenoord supporters. A trip to De Kuip is always enjoyable. Luton Town - I was born there and had a season ticket in the late 80's. Chester - Lived there from '88 - '13 and had a season ticket in the mid-90's. Hibs - Always felt that they were a bit like Saints. Not a top team but occasionally upset the big boys, which I like. I now have family in Edinburgh so go along when I'm visiting. If I had to follow a Prem team it would be Newcastle, simply because I love the place.
