Suppose it depends on your definition of important. In reality no city is 'important.' It isn't a bad city though in the scheme of things and has some interesting bits of history.

Why is it so offensive to some to give an opinion they disagree with? People say 'he will come good' but how long do we wait for that to happen with the possible consequence that we drop some points? I think he looks very slow and lazy and doesn't want the ball half as much as he did last year. We can't stick with him indefinitely and if this form were to continue until January then it may be time to start thinking about getting someone else in if it looks like we will get promotion. As I said he can't live off last season forever, there comes a time where you have to say enough is enough. Now am I allowed to hold that opinion without people acting in mock surprise as if I have uttered the most stupid words possible? In my opinion it is just common sense. If he wasn't a 'name' then he would have been dropped ages ago.

Did Adkins mention the penalty save at all? Hope he gave Davis credit.

Yep. Had about 2 decent games from what I can see. He came with such excitement and its really been disappointing IMO.

I'm confused when people moan that the BBC produces some 'cr*p' programmes. There are many many programmes on the BBC which I would consider cr*p but I would fight to the death to allow them to be made. After all, they are undoubtedly popular to some sections of Britain and the BBC's remit is to Inform Educate and Entertain as many sections of Britain as they can, not just people who like the news or documentaries.

Thing is though he probably appeals to a lot of people (despite my thoughts on him.) The BBC's output generally has a variety of stuff including things I think is cr*p (Moyles and Little Britain are two examples from recent years.)
