Pathetic people pleading for info. Tom28- if you have something interesting to share then post it and I'm sure people will be grateful, otherwise quit all the posturing and flouncing off because that's equally pathetic.
-
I don't think any fanbases have to deal with a worse goal record than us though.
-
What are you wittering on about? How does pointing out that there isn't a hoard of people on here saying we should have sold vvd mean that I am pretending to be a reasonable poster? The reality is that the vast majority of posters on here see the clubs stance over vvd as a positive. I'm not going to criticise others who see it differently though and would prefer that the money was invested in more attacking players.
-
When you say "all those" do you actually mean that one poster who has a different opinion to you? I'm pleased we kept vvd but I'm certainly not pleased that we are weaker in an attacking sense than last season. I think once Bitterne made some good points even if I don't entirely agree with him.
-
Fantastic defensively but very little creativity and not a lot in attack apart from gabbiadini. Boufal becomes vital if we want to achieve anything beyond mediocrity. Hopefully pellegrino can get him playing.
-
6.5/10. Certainly above average window but a failure to address our lack of goals will probably come back to haunt us and will most likely lead to a fairly average season. We will address the problem eventually either in January or next summer but it's another opportunity to push on missed.
-
We're "fast approaching" that time so not long now.
-
I guess with that we are back to praying that boufal comes good. Very disappointing from the club though and not much of an incentive to watch us this year if you want exciting football or interesting games. A midfield consisting of the likes of Tadic, jwp, romeu, redmond is enough to send you to sleep.
-
Well our current formation isn't working. I'd like us to try somethibg else.
-
I'd rather have Jay rod than long that's for sure. If an immobile Austin gets injured or God forbid gabbi then we are really limited.
-
Really surprised we have let Jay rod and Gallagher go without getting a replacement.
-
It's a tactic from the north to pretend to engage in order to extract concessions before going right back to their previous behaviour. Promoting more dialogue isn't going to change that.
-
I haven't seen much evidence that we would start getting goals soon. We had an entire season of poor performance in front of goal and it's continued into this one so far.
-
And if north Korea refuse to talk?
-
Seems like an unnecessarily hostile tone to take. It's not my job to find the specific player, that's a job for the club and it's much touted black box and scouting network. We will have a number of players in mind as we do for every position and I'd like us to go for one of those. No need for fans to know the identities before we sign- it's the Southampton way.

Preventing mlg from making more than three posts a day is the main benefit of the system in my opinion
-
How would you handle it aintforever if you were America?
-
Go and make your own forum then mlg. I'm sure it will be rife with entertainment.
-
An attacking player with some pace that will allow us to score more goals and provide some more entertainment.

I was agreeing with you verbal you massive dong.

That's a cop out quite frankly. We do our homework and often get in a load of players we have barely heard of who do really well. Fans may believe that not many exist but you can bet that we have a list of potential signings in that mould should any of our players get injured for example.
-
Our goals to game ratio and our shots to goals ratio must be the worst they have been since we came up. That's why it is a poor window if we can look at those stats and then do nothing about it when we had the opportunity. This of course can change if we do decide to bring someone in. They may have little affect on those stats but at least we will have tried to sort it rather than sitting on our hands.
-
I agree but it's one of the only scenarios where I wouldn't mind too much about vvd going to Liverpool.
-
How is it a good window if we have failed to strengthen in the one area where we needed someone the most? Yes we have kept our players which is a positive but if we don't strengthen our attacking options then we are in for another very boring and functional season which is really going to make me pretty unenthusiastic about watching us every week.
