  1. Wish these contracts were thrashed out in private. Has anyone of our big names signed a new contract since the new regime came in? Steven Davies yes but not really a big name.
  2. I can't help myself but I end up singing the baby Cambridge version that bearsy introduced.
  3. Surely you would object to that also due to being an atheist?
  4. Indeed. If we think we can sign better then go for it. Cork would easily get into most mid table premiership teams so no worries about him
  5. I agree this is much more interesting than the average friendly. Would be a good opportunity to play the same teams consistently and would inky help the teams involved.
  6. I could think of worse errors PO16_Saint
  7. Does it even matter?
  8. Doesn't he mean henderson?
  9. I like the Samsungs due to their sd card support and removable batteries. I got my phone over a year ago now and just replaced the battery and it's like a new device. My mate's iPhone 5 that he got around the same time has very poor battery life now.
  10. You've been an irritating little dweeb for years. What's your excuse?
  11. Careful, he'll accuse you of the same thing in a minute!
  12. I think we need to do everything we can to minimise the chance of wrongful conviction and as you rightly point out that is why the appeals process exists. You would hope that in this case that those who sit in judgement over the appeal will consider what has already been outlined and Ched's argument which is clearly at odds with the verdict. It's an imperfect world and it's very difficult to get many cases with one hundred percent certainty. I have a second cousin who was wrongfully convicted (thankfully not a major crime) and imo it's just as bad as the crime being committed in the first place. I just hope that in this case the decision after the appeal is the correct one.
  13. I think ALL verdicts should be robustly questioned to make sure they stand up in the face of appeals. What I don't do is assume that because someone has been found guilty by a jury that automatically means their judgement is totally infallible. Ever heard of the West Memphis three? http://en.m.wikipedia.org/wiki/West_Memphis_Three Now again for those hard of thinking, I'm not saying that in this case the judgement is wrong, simply that a jury handing down a guilty verdict is not absolute proof of guilt.
  14. Stop with the rape apologist stuff. It's clearly made up guff from yourself and frankly makes you look a bit of a tit.
  15. Your cause doesn't seem to be particularly well received.
  16. You may have had a point if you were at another club but saints have made a point of assisting their unsuccessful players to get a club further down the leagues. We have generally treated our cast-offs with respect and helped them. Shame Adam couldn't have acted the same and he will be abused when he plays here. Quite right too.
  17. You speak for me!
  18. The vast majority disagree with you.
  19. You do realise that guan posted continuously itk comments over the entire summer and as such has a proven source within the club? Why would you think he is making it up? Just accept that you are in a very small minority or saints fans who hero worship Adam (or a relative) and let's leave it there.
  20. All I'm saying that the criminal justice system isn't infallible. That's not to say he is innocent in this case, simply that the possibility exists for a miscarriage of justice and the public should bear that in mind when looking at all cases.
  21. I don't know if he is or not but he clearly thinks he is. It's not outside the realms of possibility that he actually is innocent, it's not the first time nor the last that something like that has happened.
  22. Must be difficult to ascertain when the level of consent stops since surely it is different for each individual and each circumstance?
  23. I thought they were changing it?
  24. I don't know about the vilified bit but again no one seems to be able to answer the remorse bit. If in his mind he is adamant that he didn't rape her, why would he show public remorse about it? He is probably more intent on clearing his name for what in his mind is an injustice. If you were in his situation and felt the way that you felt about it would you show remorse?
  25. Will give us a chance to do what we have done so successfully on the pitch and replace someone we didn't know needed replacing with someone better.
