Of course something is going on, something is happening every single day but nothing has yet happened that warrants any sort of response from the club. When players leave or they decide to stay for whatever reason will be the time for statements and telling us stuff. Your grizzling because you haven't had any update since Sunday is pathetic and 99% of posters in this thread (save for Alpine) have agreed. Oh and thanks for the suggestion but I won't be putting you on ignore. Fortunately my blood pressure is not adversely affected by a few posts on an internet forum.

Nope. The silence infers there is stuff going on behind the scenes and once these things come to their conclusion we will hear what the outcome is and no doubt the club's response. The only inference concerning no one doing anything is in your own head.

We have absolutely no idea if anything has changed as yet and so why is a "statement overdue" as you put it? Does that mean that every week they have to release something to say that their stance has not changed? I would prefer the club not to be influenced by press speculation. Our players and manager are in demand and will be regardless of what the club say. If they want to go and they can't get assurances for the future then they will go and no amount of flowery statements will influence that decision. I want actions please and not any statements because I've heard it all before.

It doesn't really matter what they say, they will do what they want regardless. It's just you whining like a baby because they aren't updating you all the time. I'd rather get an update when something actually happens thanks rather than some pointless statement saying nothing again. They said their piece regarding press speculation last week and so I'll choose to believe that until evidence surfaces that says otherwise.

To be honest what harm is giving him a fair bit for a push next season? It means we most likely will not get relegated and will have another load of wonga next season. If they want to give it a good go next season and then if we fail sell Adam and Luke and pay off the debts in one go!

I totally disagree with that article. The reason the board are silent is because there is probably not much to say. Everyone on here has said actions speak louder than words and I don't think anyone wants to hear a load of waffle. I don' care if they are silent all summer as long as we keep most of our main players and are allowed to strengthen significantly.

De Boer would be an unbelievable appointment for a club like us. The other bits are very sad though. If we just lost Shaw and Adam then I could just about live with it as long as we invested the majority of the money.

Tbf, I work with loads of brilliant Polish workers and they say often they are embarrassed by many of their countrymen who come here and do nothing or just cause trouble.

It does come across like that to me at the moment. A lot of Americanised, motivational speak without actually saying much of substance. Until I see positive action being taken, then all the nice speeches are meaningless.
