  1. not saying they are but saying sort of ott arguement Lowe will use. You didn't answer how it will work? Which shareholder is going to stop supporting lowe
  2. that's not fair - sometimes there is a bit of decent movement. Little bit of width. Absolutely no penetration or defence tho!
  3. has Crouch made an offer?
  4. don't think anyone is saying its good enough or we are happy just that boycott is a bad idea
  5. so board realise that the crowds aren't happy. this is balanced with Lowe -who they obviously listen to saying the peasants are revolting because they don't understand we are broke and can't sign Beattie etc. Which share holder is going to change their mind as a result of that protest? Suggest if none its total waste of time and negative. Bank once again will look at balance sheet rather than protests. Lowe will ask them if they want him to gamble to get more expensive players in to get the crowds on side. They will say no carry on. Pearson has gone (personally not convinced he would do much different on this budget). So he is not option. How will boycott bring down lowe? Remember it was not protests that got rid of him last time, infact he stood very firm
  6. yes. Dont think a boycott would get big support (crowds will continue to drop due to crap results etc but don;t think ground will empty) Serious questions- what exactly will it seek to achieve and how will it achieve that
  7. what in Olympics? when you have gold medalists being interviewed immediately after winning their gold wishing to thank this guy from another sport then he must have done something right! (don't want him as our manager tho!)
  8. any team news?
  9. and their lack of action took us towards it in first place! Give me a sound way that a boycott is going to help?
  10. think the picture was probably not thought as off an issue given a picture by another team boardroom has picture of the face of outspoken opponent that will do as a place for the pic offer pic to LMc and it all blows up. I would agree it would be out of order to replace a picture of Mt Stokes celebrating, hanging a main reception with a pic of lowe, but come on this is a picture of Lawrie in the semi private boardroom! Fact that they are all talking about it sohws that they ALL need to go from this club as soon as we can get a new mature owner willing to buy us
  11. to be fair though 163 isn't mass!
  12. agree. And will make our club even more embaressing and depressing and unattractive
  13. fickle game, three or four poor results we will all, myself included be hoping for change, three or four good results they will probably be ahead of target for this season (comparing surviving with minutes to spare with hugely better squad). Trouble is the poor results are looking more likely.
  14. Leon needs the support of share holders. The current shareholders will not support him. Each side is digging their heals in more and more. The only way would be if the balance of ownership of shares changes. This will not happen by a protest, possibly IMHO less likely.
  15. no offence but think its ridiculous to feel proud about not going. Not saying should feel guilty as its not a responsibility but a hobby/passion and the enjoyment priorities may change. Sunny day, had good morning with kids, people round tonight but looking forward to game on sunny afternoon (although have warned guests that maybe bit grumpy to start with after a defeat!) Can't say as excited as in the past though
  16. when anyone praises our players I don't think they are pretending they are world beaters or as good as players we had in premiership -but comparing to others we have now and where we are at
  17. sorry DD don't get your reply so guess means you didn't get my post! point I was trying to make was that the stand up protest didn't get rid of Lowe, he would have stayed for any number of such protests -what got rid of him was someone buying enough shares to force the issue -hence me believing protests are counter productive now
  18. no the beginning of the end was Wilde deciding to buy shares. If that hadn't have happened Lowe would have sat it out.
  19. agree with all of that. which is why I am against protests - a shareholder, or potential shareholder who isnt all mouth is what is needed to rid us of all of these. Picking up on one thing, isn't it quite natural to want to protect your investment if it is millions?
  20. I don't want anyone in power who needs the fans to get them the power. If you want to get control buy the f ing shares or shut the f up!
  21. or buy a 20+ goal a season forward -oh yea can't afford one!
  22. keep predicting maybe right one day
  23. wouldn't surprise me! more likely as a DoF role. Think a JP failure is more likely to bring down Lowe than any protest.
  24. and that looks unlikely this season
  25. don't think he uses that sort of language
