my guess -and its only that - is that we received loan fees for Rasiak, John and Saga but didn't pay for at least Pekhart and Cork. I know we didn't used to charge loan fees when we sent players out to develop, and actually paid some of their wages, so maybe Chelsea and Spurs are doing the same?

Dicko -agree we are weak at both ends , but rather than repeating post match thread we knew we didn't have them at start of season so did you expect this? I thought we would be mid table, so I am disappointed, but think we are doing better than what many predicted

As we went into first game, with the squad and manager as they are, what did you genuinely think we would achieve this season? I was very down after last night's and saturday's games -looking at the opposition I felt we could have got 4 points (nearly 3 saturday and Palace were nothing special). But was thinking this morning, many on here were saying we were dead certs for early relegation, a Cardiff season ticket holder I know said he had been talking to mates with season predictions and had us for relegation with record low points. We are two places above relegation and I think 4 points as it stands this morning - far far from comfortable - but is it better than anyone expected?

you were totally wrong on Burley -the arguement I often had with you was you saying anyone would be better. Me saying we should do better, and if we could improve on him then we should - however I feared we would go for a cheap option and be worse off. GB leaves -board replace with cheap option and go from nearer to play off to nearly relegated. So it does have bearing on how you posts are viewed!

no, and um pahars arguments on selection are fair -however he is here - and he is only bigger than the club if you let him, and that is what people on here are doing. Also I do think some (note some!) of the cirticism is completely ridicluous, was comical and now boring.

there must be others as good -but fresh start, or better, but it for some reason they don't seem to be coming forward -however many times people post they don't like Lowe. We would all (with maybe one or two exceptions) be interested to see what someone like Salz would offer. BUT, the shareholders, in their wisdom opt for the merry-go round. My gut feeling (appreciate many disagree) is that of those with tickets for the merry-go-round Lowe is the best option at the moment. I would rather others bought tickets but until they do I will support the club and try to keep as positive as I can about the club (as its meant to be pleasure/entertainment). I supported Wilde and Hoos but that went wrong so am not the lowe luvvie the likes of Ottery make out (bought shares and met with Hoos to assist his last demise). So where are Fulthorpe or Crouch buying shares? Until then its my club not lowe's so will go every home game and not look or care who is in directors box. that is just false and easy arguement -have posted many times my views about him going etc, just believe that it shouldn't all be about petty personal views -from fans or board members. Would love him to go but can't get stressed about a lot of the made up criticisms when there are so many real things to worry about, but hey cos I don't think he is a posh paedo who I want to die guess makes me lowe luvvie.
