Why would you do that? There was a MOM poll put on by a moderator yesterday at 5 25pm. They need to be combined.

Whose valuation? Surely there is a market value for development/housing because clearly the club don't have to play there to continue as a league team.

Maybe a fairer way would be to do away with it altogether and revert to the original scheme where a tax allowance was put on the tax code for every child so the amount of tax paid was reduced. That way those that paid nothing got nothing.

I would think the biggest problem any club will have buying him is the £12m they will have to pay up front. If we had to borrow to pay his fee, that will have to be paid back.

Can somebody throw any light on this. It is absolute fact that Portpin have a charge of £17m on all the assets that is secured. What happens on two fronts 1) the League, saying they will only allow the club into the league if the carried forward charge is reduced but Portpin say no, the £17m charge stands. 2) PKF try to reduce the secured amount. Finally what happens at the court case if Portpin want to take possession of all the assets secured?

That's not what Weston said at all. What he said was in response to the rumours that Adkins had been to a meeting with Cortese. The gist of it was after a training session Adkins and Cortese had their usual chat but that there would be a planned review of the season so far at the end of the month.

They should call it the Reserve Team FA Cup. Our record in the cups of playing weakened sides completely devalues the interest. Unless it's cheap especially if it's on tv I think they will get a half full stadium. It's not worth paying for a devalued product.

I suppose it really depends which team turns up. We were excellent against QPR/NU but not as good v NC. If we play like last Sunday we have a chance of getting something, otherwise?

There is no point in talking about Davis anymore, he is what he is. If he is picked it would surprise me but it's up to Adkins. Boruc is another matter, he is experienced but for whatever reason despite the experience, Adkins isn't picking him. I personally think that if he was the obvious improvement and has resolved the weight/fitness problem after two months training Adkins would already be picking him. The mere hint of the Friedel rumour, if true, would mean that the goalkeeper we bought for the future is the only viable alternative at the moment. If a now fit Boruc is picked on Saturday I would hope that it is because he is now the best goalkeeper not a last throw of the dice. I do think that Gazzaniga will continue in goal.

IMO he has to get off to a flying start, if he doesn't he could well be in the same boat as Hughes unable to buy a win. It's all about team spirit, I'm not sure he can turn this around.

A combination but one of the biggest differences for me is that we are hunting in packs and getting plenty of players close to the ball in all the phases with plenty of movement, plus a lot less backwards and sideways in front of the opposition whilst especially Ramirez, Puncheon and Lallana when in possession drive forward at the opposition.
