  2. I don't care how far-fetched and speculative these ideas are, I just love the fact that we are thinking about it and considering it as fans of and upward bound team. Just imagine 50,000 people turning out of watch Saints. Wow.
  3. I think in reality you are receiving what you want, otherwise you wouldn't post such remarks in the first place.
  4. You will never find happiness in your life, it seems.
  5. He's only out to get a reaction.
  6. Unfortunately you are embarrassing yourself with these comments, because you are totally wrong.
  7. Well good luck to you Saga, he has given me some of my most enjoyable moments watching Saints in the last few seasons, notably at wolves, and against Sheffield United in the season we stayed up. He has been a true gentlemen throughout his time with us and I wish him all the best for the future. Thankyou Marek.
  8. come on, everyone would miss the rivalry, thats what football is about.
  9. ok sorry for not answering you're question clearly enough. Yes, yes he is better.
  10. I really do wish him all the best, but I have to agree that I saw little potential personally.
  11. A silly question I think. I don't know why everyone is so concerned about Patterson now. He never really impressed me and he has had a fair few opportunities. Barnard on the other hand is totally proven in this league, and at a perfect age. If you put a poll on this forum 'who would you rather played for saints, Patterson or Barnard?' I think you would find it would be pretty conclusive.
  12. without trawling through all the posts, I must say how impressed I was with Thomas last night, saved our skins a couple of times with great last ditch tackles. I can see why Pardew persists with Antonio. Although he is erratic, his strength, pace and confidence adds another element to our threat. In the first 30 minutes before he tired a bit, he was a serious thorn in the side of MK. Great atmosphere as well. I took my Man U supporting mate with me and now he admitted he wouldn't mind being a Saints fan because our fans are electric!
  13. Interesting opinion.
  14. how did they score?
  15. maybe this game will make the powers that be realise who we now need to sign.
  16. He is one of Palace's best players on Fifa 10, and Fifa generally doesn't lie
  17. That's dissapointing even for you Alpine...
  18. Happy now Stevo?
  19. now now gentlemen for the moment at least we are winning...
  20. Basing this on the last few years to narrow down the choices and sooth my memory: Forecast Wright Powell Lancashire Molyneux Pulis Thompson Gobern Gasmi Pekhart Patterson
  21. I watched him against Northampton and I thought he was the best player on the pitch. Very intelligent play and wasn't afraid to get in amoungst the play and use his strength. A valuable asset.
  22. He was straying all the time against Northampton. Although he had his good spells I got the distinct impression he was just mindlessly drifting.
  23. I totally agree, why bother coming if you're going to go straight back down again after 35 minutes. If you need a pint that badly that quickly you need to join an AA group...
  24. Summed it up well I think. Also I was personally quite impressed with Schneiderlin and Murty today, especially Morgan who I thought I was in a class of his own in midfield.
