Sounds like a repeat of last season to me. The police and stewards wont stop the crowd getting on the pitch if they want to, and so there is absolutely no point in provoking the chav elements of our fans by setting up human walls and putting out announcements. Yes the police did there jobs, unfortunately though, the job wasn't very well thought out.

Why do you think.

Players we've detested over the past 5 years

Everyone seems to hate BWP, but I quite liked him. Ok he was a stealing chav, and was mostly useless on the pitch, but you cant argue he added some character and liveliness to the club. I remember he story once when he was the only player going towards the team bus after the game to apologise to the fans after a loss. Dyer on the other hand... -
Do you have an inferiority complex?
-
well we may as well all forget saints for a while like you are Stu...

The exact same happens to me mate, sickening isn't it.
-
Well exactly, and this is doubly frustrating for me considering I have a mate who is absolutely OBSESSED with that small-town club. He has never seen anything like this in years and he is loving it considering we have always been a superior team. I am also struggling to see why they are so good. They lost Cox last season, and their signings haven't exactly been emphatic. They're just an annoyingly well organised, effective team at the moment. But then they will probably get the stuffing kicked out of them next season, whether or not they are in the championship.

Alpine I am truly fascinated by some of your responses. Are you now suggesting we sack Pardew??? Because thats the message I am getting from most of your posts. You have always been on the back of every Saints manager at the slightest drop of form. God help Saints if you, or somebody like you, were chairman.

Although it would be mad, I bet he would score a goal.

A hearty congratulations from me.

True, but i believe it reflects a slow down in the pace of the game. -

Yeah I find that, it destroys the atmosphere some what I feel. -
This is undoubtably the most f*cked off iv been in retrospectively a very poor season. I'm never gonna here the end of this now from my Swindon supporting mate, and they must be the only team to do the double over us this season? Somebody up there must hate me.
-
now thats a good things, by swindon supporting mate says Cuthbert is good, and there squad is quite thin.
-
Same, I've got a mate who is a massive Swindon fan and to see us play like we did last time was unbearable. If we replicate our home form of late I am confident.
-
As much as I love the idea I think everyone is getting a bit carried away here. Like others I think it would be beneficial to remain mortgage free, and the stadium we have now is in a good location, with a good atmosphere. I think if other teams saw this scheme they would laugh at us. Wait until we are in the prem.

Another manager with questionable ambition ?
Northant Saint replied to alpine_saint's topic in The Saints
maybe if we all ignored him he would just go away? -
This scarily sounds very plausible. It also matches up with the irritable manner in which Pardew answered the questions about public perception etc. I wouldn't be at all surprised if this is true, as much as I hate to say it.
-
What I can't stand sometimes is the way people say 'same old Saints' as soon as something goes wrong. It just connects us with the past, when we should now be forgetting that and looking into the future.
-
You're weird. YEEEESSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSs
-
well done boys, sounded very good having listened to the whole thing- reflected a lot of my own opinions. Next step- SaintsWebTV

Yes but nevertheless it is a very similar line up to what we played against Portsmouth. I think it would be foolish to not include Papa or Antonio in their recent form, and people suggesting Lallana should start on the bench are crazy. Puncheon should get his chance when the form of one of these drops imo.
