Oh no. Saints value him more than other people are willing to pay. That means he'd stay. That would be terrible. Finding it pretty laughable that Liverpool seem to think they have the upper hand in these negotiations over Lallana. A take it or leave it offer at this stage is incredibly high risk, especially at a value below what we want for him, and when Lallana is so obviously Liverpool's top target. With the new TV deal, teams know that Prem teams have money, and they're unlikely to get an alternative target cheaply. It doesn't look like we're going to take the 'take it' option, so if Liverpool come back after that, it makes them look incredibly weak.

I'm not going to change the thread title. Regardless of where they end up this summer, they'll be going to the World Cup as Saints players, and it's their efforts playing for Saints that have got them there.

From that article, it certainly sounds like he'd be a good fit.
