  1. Seems like 4th best in Prem at least from open play. http://bwinbetting.com/leagues/premier-league/lambert-give-boss-adkins-royal-awakening,38901.html
  2. Three teams (not promoted teams) have done it before, we're one of them, and I believe the others are Villa and Middlesbrough. No newly promoted team has stayed up having lost the first three though (let alone the first four - yet.)
  3. There's a very good indicator that we don't need to clear out the team wholesale to improve. A lot of our players are on the radars of 'big' clubs to try and buy off of us.
  4. Both 7 points adrift with 7 to play now, no team's ever come back from that.
  5. See what you did there Reading for me, need to make sure we turn up against a 'lesser' team, probably the easiest game we have left, would probably see us safe by itself, and can't see us needing more than 1 win in 7 after that to guarantee it.
  6. ¡Corre! ¡Corre! ¿Qué es el inglés para corre?
  7. Good point. Swansea weren't the current holders when we played them at home though, so we have a complete sweep of last season's champions? Chelsea for the Champion's League and FA Cup, Man City for the Premier League, Liverpool for the League Cup, and Reading for the Championship.
  8. Ooh! Good catch!
  9. I make that the current Premier League Champions, the current League Cup holders, the current FA Cup Holders, and the current Champions League holders (as well as the beaten FA Cup Finalists) we've put away at St Mary's this season. St Mary's, Graveyard of Champions. Brilliant perfomance, two absolutely magical goals. Felt like we were struggling and tired the last 20, but we held out, and retook control for the last 5, when it looked like Chelsea had run out of ideas. J-Rod MotM for me.
  10. And now, Portsmouth are guaranteed next season to once again be lower than we have EVER been.
  11. It doesn't really matter when the season ends, other than being a time limit for them to take over. If they don't lose their golden share due to still being in admin, it means this season hasn't ended yet, and that it's still this season for any points deductions. If they manage to finish outside of the relegation zone, there's no room for them to delay coming out of admin to take the points deduction over to next season in League One.
  12. If they hang things out, and finish the season in admin, they'll lose their golden share.
  13. Unbound is a way for authors to crowd-fund the publishing of their books, one of the books on there is Jimmy Case's autobiography. http://unbound.co.uk/books/hard-case One of the pledge rewards is to play in a 5-a-side against him! Here's a bit more about how Unbound was started. http://www.guardian.co.uk/books/2011/may/29/crowdfunded-publishing-project-signs-major-names
  14. And it proved to be the winning goal http://www.thefa.com/England/mens-u19s/News/2013/turkey-report-210313.aspx
  15. Wouldn't mind betting he scanned through this thread to get those links...
  16. One event being more likely than the other doesn't make that event certain Nor does an event actually happening mean that it was certain at the time the prediction was made, for that matter.
  17. You'd stick everything you own on that would you? No? Can't be that certain then.
  18. So, Appy to take over at Reading and get a team relegated to each of the Football League's tiers in one season?
  19. I think we'll get 10 more points. With the way we can beat anyone or lose to anyone though, it could be any combinion of those teams we get them against...
  20. This is going to be a long game to watch for Norwich...
  21. Norwich getting dragged into the relegation battle then...
  22. Keeper was unlucky, but stopped a clear goal scoring opportunity with his arm outside the box. Ref had no choice with him having his arms out like that.
  23. That felt like a better performance than Man City! First half we were untouchable, 4-0 wouldn't have been unfair at half time.
  24. See that we've accepted the charge. By way of comparison, Sunderland last season got a £20k fine as punishment.
