I guess best case scenario for the English game at the moment is that it's suspicion on the opposition in whatever game it was. (That said, if this is the tip of the iceberg, I'd find it bloody funny if it eventually turns out Pompey's brief foray into Europe is brought into it.)

Only one UK match suggests it's a team that's not been in the Champs League regularly during that time. (To me anyway, would have thought they'd have found a bigger pattern if a team had been there more.)

I did delete the posts for trolling actually. Not because his opinion was negative, but because he suggested that anyone with a positive opinion was in the wrong, managed to misspell both manager's names, and suggested that two games in following two very promising performances, that the manager's job was under threat. If he wasn't antagonising people deliberately, he did a heck of a job doing it accidentally.

I reckon Shaw's absence is due to the relegation 6 pointer at the weekend, especially as tonight is such a low percentage game. A loss tonight and a draw against Wigan is arguably better than a win tonight and losing against Wigan. With him being so good already it's easy to forget he's only 17 and won't have the fitness to play every minute of every game yet.

Yes the FL decided to punish us for the parent company going into admin, but they are not a legal financial authority. From a legal accuracy stance, Southampton FC (The Club) has never been in admin, it was the separate company that owned us went into admin (and had all its debts paid in full.) I don't know, maybe the fact the FL decided to punish us is enough? As the club itself has never been in admin though, I'm not sure I agree that the BBC should report it as such.
