Really? Would have thought they would be as relegation and promotion hasn't officially happened yet... That's just my thoughts though.
-
Patience friend... (sorry, been playing FAR too much Red Dead Redeption...) They haven't fallen under the jurisdiction of the FL yet, they still have the Creditors meeting to come, and HMRC still haven't shown their hand yet... they have a LOT of hurdles to overcome to start next season. What seems to have done Palace in is the fact that their ground is too valuable as housing land... Fratton Park is difficult in terms of potential for building right now unless a developer is patient, so they still have a ground to play at. That's what's keeping them going day to day right now.
-
If they do go under, I'd assume Sheffield Wednesday would be given a reprieve and avoid dropping to our league, and then Gillingham would be given a reprieve from relegation in our league. Gillingham instead of Wednesday? Probably makes it an easier league from a purely selfish point of view, but it would be a shame to see them go under.

Is it just me that's actually quite enjoying this 'boredom'? Compared to the 'excitement' of wondering which of our best players were about to leave when we were in the Prem, figuring out what these things called 'lower leagues' were over the last few seasons, and then wondering whether we'd still have a club to support last summer, I'm just sitting back and enjoying the fact that Saints off season is boring for once...
-
Sooo... they finished 32 points off of Newcastle and still go up... Saints finished 13 points off of 2nd, including the 13 point deduction, and still missed out on the playoffs... That's football I guess. Omerod is a legend though

We spent money on a stadium when we WERE in a position to afford it though. We lost the position to be able to afford it later, and called in the administrators the INSTANT it became legally required, we acted with absolute honour in this regard. Pompey on the other hand...
-
We're all missing something obvious here. Why the heck does anyone think The Football League will let a brand new company into the league in place of the liquidated Pompey? They've remained diplomatically quiet thus far, only pointing out that Pompey aren't under their jusidiction yet. This talk of Pompey being liquidated could well be talk of the end of the football club as a whole I reckon.
-
It wouldn't be 'without question'.
-
Wheeeeeeeee! How the feck did we manage that?
-
That'd actually make a nice away kit for Saints.... And I don't think it was a goal... just. Let's not let Pompey have any excuse when they get beat.
-
On BBC saying that the new parachute payments come into force from the END of next season. Pompey miss out it seems.

The older generation consider 'coloured' to be less offensive than 'black' and so they were probably using the less offensive term as they saw it. Likewise, an older person may find being called black more offensive than being called coloured. 'Tis relatively recently that it's changed to black being the politically correct term, and just because it's now politically correct doesn't mean the older generation will suddenly like it if they didn't before (although some will...) tricky business...

Kudos to the Pompey fans that have raised the target for covering their club's debt to St John's Ambulance. They're about the only creditable thing associated with that cesspit of a club at the moment.

Oi! Man up you lot! We're only three games from the end of the season, and STILL in with a mathematical chance of getting in the playoffs. We need every result to go our way, but with so little time left before the end of the season, and so few results left, I for one have NOT GIVEN UP YET! COYR!
-
So should I point out that Shinawatra would fail the FAPPT now or are you lot going to? lol

My Great Uncle, Reginald Dance, died a few days ago at the age of 96. My Dad kept in touch with him but I never really knew him, there was a nice piece the Echo about him today, made me wish I'd known him a bit better. http://www.dailyecho.co.uk/news/8106748.Family_pays_tribute_to_Normandy_veteran__96/ Rest In Peace.

FM 2010 hints, tips, cheats & gems of players / tactics

Remember that in the real world Gary Neville is considered a pretty decent player in arguably the top team in the best league in the world. You DO get decent regens in the game, but they're quite rightly far and few between. -
This season just WILL NOT DIE!

Haha... My career game with Eastleigh... we've just been taken over by none other than Nicola Cortese I managed to avoid getting sacked as well despite him wanting to bring his own manager in to start with. -
Aww dammit. Annoying thing is we'd have loved this result without the -10... more chance of sneaking the 2nd automatic promotion spot.
-
aww nutsacks.

The ash (glass pretty much) is too high and we won't be able to make it out as such... It should give us an awesome sunset tonight though.
-
Has brilliant days and bad days, but that's to be expected, he's a young player. As he gets older and more experienced, the good days will happen more often and the bad days not so much.
-
Looks like they're worried about the future as well.
-
OR they only need to drop 4 points from 4 games for us to be able to catch them. They weren't playing well tonight, and they'll be crapping themselves when they see our scoreline tonight. This season is very much still alive at the moment.
