on a side note... looks like the Echo really do read this forum for news! http://www.dailyecho.co.uk/sport/5003596.Saints_fans_have_a_laugh_at_Pompey_with_web_video/

Main reason being we were awesome. Every time they tried Play Up we immediately responded with Pay Up Every time they did that godawful tune you hear at amusments, we responded with the same tune with **** off on the end, like we've been doing against most league one teams this season. They didn't have anything else, and were only heard when we were 4-1 down and we couldn't be arsed to drown them out any more... crap support really, absolutely shocking for the biggest game of their season. Still, this could be a good strategy for keeping opposition fans quiet... taking their own songs and using them against them. If it works against Pompey, supposedly the best fans in the land, in the one game of the year where you'd think they'd be up for supporting their team, it can work against anyone, just need to do our research and find out what songs they use against each team so we can work out a good response.

Old radar technology fools speeding motorists
Jimmy_D replied to Saint in Paradise's topic in Motoring Forum
Not possibly to reduce peoples speed (after all they just sit there at no cost, and you can't go faster than the car in front of you...) in accident blackspots, do you think? -
They tried to sing it, but they didn't really put any heart into it...

one thought... no-one can be that interested in them considering they weren't bothered enough to get a deal done before today, when it could well have been too late for any company other than a prem football club.
-
Their morale is gonna be low... I mean, they're gonna be expecting it to be their last game, how many are gonna want to risk an injury and not being picked up by another club? 2-1 Saints I reckon.

Interesting link... http://www.timesonline.co.uk/tol/sport/football/premier_league/portsmouth/article7021577.ece Vantis doing their statement of affairs... which has this fella as a non exec director... http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Ken_Dulieu Can't see them being too happy about that!

Someone on their forum reckons that as it's less than 12 hours to the hearing now, it's too late for them to go into admin. Can anyone confirm or deny?

I've got my ticket. I'd imagine a fair few people are waiting to see if Pompey will even exist come Saturday though.
-
I don't see even a ray of hope for them...

Pompey saying talks are ongoing... Then again, sending out begging letters to various rich people are 'negotiations with potential new owners'
-
Haha, I think you struck a nerve with that 'best fans in the world' question...

SSN saying talks between them and HMRC will continue tomorrow.

They reported we'd made a signing we hadn't as well... Sky are usually pretty reliable admittedly, but they're not bulletproof http://www.skysports.com/story/0,19528,11095_5886470,00.html Also sounds like it's all coming from Portsmouth's end so far...
-
This was apparently heard on Talksport... Doesn't add much to the credibility I admit...
-
rumours say the PL have said reports of the embargo being lifted are 'premature' not usually my style to put something with no link or source so even I think this could well be wrong.

We were gonna get taken over by Paul Allen at one point, all the newspapers were saying it...

Beaten a team from a higher league than us.
