I thought they would have, and I was sort of hoping they would have, I wanted to celebrate our Wembley win a bit more. With hindsight, I'm glad they didn't, might have cost us 3 points yesterday, we only just scraped them as it was. The only player that trophy seems to have helped is Lallana, he looked like he thought he could do anything yesterday, and it was just enough in the end.

I think we could end up in 6th, behind Huddersfield in 5th and ahead of Leeds in 7th.

Surprised Pompey could afford to do that!

No one was booing Cortese! It was because the Carlise fans refused to carry on a mexican wave in the top tier that there was booing... just coincidence that Cortese was on the screen.

I know, that was the point I was making, we were in a far better position than Pompey are and still only survived by a gnat's left bollock... Pompey... like I said, it's only going to be someone that wants the challenge that saves them, and I don't think it'll come off for them.

I get the feeling Pompey are about to give us the starkest example possible of what would have happened to us without Markus bailing us out... I still don't think any of us can really see just how incredibly lucky we were to find our owner in the economic climate we were in. Pompey are in a far worse position financially, with fewer assets, and in an even worse economic climate... The only way I can see them possibly getting out of it is if someone has already made their money, and wants a challenge to spend it on, something to build from the ground up, somewhat like playing as Eastleigh on FM, and because there ARE a few people out there like that, they've still got the tiniest bit of hope. Barring that though... are we really going to see the end of Pompey?

Swindon had done their homework and it could have gone either way. Part of me thinks it'll be Norwich Charlton and Saints if we have an absolutely blinding run to the end of the season, to make it the three relegated teams bouncing straight back up. Ok, ok, unlikely (very!) I know, but it could happen.

Relax, they'll get their due... I'm of the opinion that they'll be supporting AFC Pompey or whatever next season, leaving behind a wreck that'll be held up as being all that's wrong with football, an icon of dishonesty, cheating, and financial suicide. They want their 'success' to carry over to the new Pompey? That's fine, but in that case their bad reputation will follow them as well.

The crowd were awesome tonight OWTS sung slow (and KEPT slow a couple of times as well, good effort people ) Heck, even us in Chapel managed to get people around us singing Tonight was the first time I'd ever heard 'Itchen Itchen, give us a song...' Opposition crowd never really in it, altho we didn't have to work hard to do that tbf.
