  1. My point is your own lack of knowledge or understanding, it must have been obvious to Lowe / Wilde that fielding a team of untried youngsters would fail through lack of experience ability etc of this league. People complain at lack of support, but if Lowe and Wilde knew that fielding an inexperienced or incapable players for this league would result in failure...then the average supporter has been conned into buying a season ticket. False and missrepresentation has taken place as far as I am concerned, hence the massive downturn in supporters through the turnstiles
  2. Yes...where is Plan B...no good company goes into business without a plan B
  3. Perhaps you need a course in appreciation of the game
  4. no he will be DOF
  5. YOU can WIN GAMES WITH KIDS...look at the Arsenal result last night with a team EVEN YOUNGER than we put out. Our problem is that Lowe thinks the quality of our young players is better than reallity. They just are not good enough, time to get some experienced loan players in
  6. OK so the planned total football has not worked, we better implement plan B ... Oh shiite we don't have a plan B
  7. Arsenal kids average team age 20 are winning 4-0. Who says you don't win with kids ? Its the quality of the kids that is the difference between us and them
  8. We need all the players put on a performance related pay system (payment by results)...£5k for a win £1k for a draw and nothing for a defeat...would solve all our financial problems
  9. And you think that they will play better in the league ???
  10. We are total Shiite tonight. Rotherham much the better team. Total football out...lowe out JP out and put the cat out too
  11. I think its fair to say that results so far are indicating that the Youth are not yet ready, and the Total Football does not seem to be working. We can get in some loan signings as soon as poss, payoff JP with washers and get in a person with experience of the English game as manager. Will it guarantee an improvement ? possibly in that the younger players seem to struggle with the foreign concept, a return to a more simple game plan is likely to help.
  12. Buy a very large bottle of vintage champagne and get pizzed
  13. Then go for a mixture of both. Its survival that matters not pretty football
  14. No Jesus was transferred a while ago, he will not be back!
  15. Moral blackmail will not work, it needs the club to get its act together, improve results and the supporters will return. In these difficult economic times, people EXPECT value for money when looking to spend their disposable income. Lowe, Wilde etc and SLH have no devine call on anyones money or how its spent. Who throws good money around on substandard products. It should do what it says on the tin.
  16. Sundance lets look at Rupert Lowe with honesty!...To return to a club that previously failed latterly under his executive management was never going to work. Like or hate the man he has frequently treated his customers with disdain, calling them Klingons..the lunatic fringe, rablerousels etc. Is it any wonder that many of us can never forgive his lack of investment after the Cup Final when finances were at a reasonable level. The result of this was the loss of a pretty good manager and the start of the slide into oblivion. Having then failed with the introduction of academy youth, on his return what does he do? he decides to use that approach once more, but this time in greater quantity than before. We do have views from different points of the spectrum, this may be down to a lack of public school education on my part. However I do have enough nous and intellect to know that I do not want him anywhere near our club. The damage that he and his cohorts have done is almost irrepairable, I dream of the day that he departs from our club.
  17. Amen to that...however you will always have some uber fans who do not class us as real supporters, living in Cheshire as I do now, I have the same problem that you have...distance and cost
  18. If administration comes Bovis would lose their money along with many smaller suppliers
  19. See an orthopedic surgeon then !
  20. Your not right about Jacksons farm being available at a knockdown price if administration comes. It is the duty of the administrator to get the highest price for a saleable asset.
  21. Rupert Lowes epitath...The most divisive person ever in the history of Southampton football club !
  22. The real reality is if we do nothing almost certain relegation and administration will quickly follow (End of Season latest). We do have a choice and that is to line up those players capable of bringing in finance in January by hawking them round the various clubs now and arranging an agreement of intent to sell to a club . At the same time arrange some experienced loan signings to replace the departees, based on the hypothesis of certain young players who may attract a fee. The only downside is that clubs interested will use this situation to offer silly money for any saleable player. The behind the scenes powers should at the same time line up a suitable manager / coach with experience of English football to take over from JP at the next transfer window. The Total football concept is fine on paper, the reality is that you need more old heads than young ones to get the team to climb the league and get some wins. January is not too late to turn things round. The only force preventing it would be the loss of face to Lowe in admitting that he got it wrong AGAIN. The only alternatives to the above and there are two is that 1) a rich idiot can be conned into buying the club and 2) We file for Administration soon.
  23. Steve at £26 quid a game to watch a load of crap, people have every right to whinge. Its all about value for your remaining disposable income in these difficult financial times and, if people see little hope at SMS they will whinge. But hey ..I thought that this is what the forum was for... exchange of opinions and let off steam. Don't knock contributors that whinge its what keeps the forum going.
  24. Very true...however because we are in such a mess, supporters will always cling to any hope that there may be..no matter if its justified or not. The only consistency in the last 3 years is that we have had 3 different boards of directors with 3 different ways to improve the situation. The only commonality between the 3 boards of directors is...failure
  25. Why the squad we could start with Lowe and work downwards ?
