Barker's 'waiting for the season to end' comment is revealing....... ......are they so complacent that they don't think relegation is a possibility?

Good opportunity to rest a few and prepare for the Palace game where we have a better chance of getting 3 points.

Would You Care If Pochettino Left Tommorow?
Kingsbridge Saint replied to Pastor Patrón's topic in The Saints
If he came out tomorrow and said it was his intention to continue to field weakened sides in the later stages of the FA Cup, then yes, I would want him gone. -
Momentum gone after last week. Season will peter out to 10th/11th as a few sides will string a run together from the chasing pack. Disappointing end to a season of opportunity. But grateful for the progress made under Cortese. Real shame we haven't a cup run to keep the fans, players and club engaged. Mopo has a lot of thinking to do about his approach to the FA Cup.
-
I really hope for Mopo's sake that the loss of momentum from fielding the weakened side last weekend, and the kicking the club has received this week as a result, doesn't carry over into another poor result at West Ham. Then the pressure would really be on. On the other hand, if we win, we can just slag him off for picking the wrong week to turn in a winning performance. Then we can all slag him off again when the FA Cup Quarter Finals come around. I am being serious. Still mightily ****ed off.
-
Hope not. Big Vic has been gash ever since he came back. Cork is close to player of the season for me.
-
Glad to see Mopo clearly stung by the completely justified blazing criticism. 'The best team for that day'? Total Hogwash. Cork, Morgan, Boruc. I rest my case. DONT DO IT AGAIN NEXT SEASON.
-
Beyond angry really. Unless there is some sort of official acknowledgement by Poch or the club that they misjudged things badly, or an apology to those fans that made the trip, I really don't think i can be aresd anymore this season. And unless the attitude to the FA Cup changes, whats the ****ing point going forward? We're not going to win the Prem are we?

Is Miley Cirus on the verge of some sort of break down?

Aspiring to be someones ***** or ho is not really fulfilling her potential imo. -
Anything at all out of the club yet to explain/apologise for that travesty at the weekend? Will have a bearing on my give a **** o meter for the rest of the season.

Just speaking generally, I am getting very ****ed off with the refs who give free kicks to the players who 'go to ground' or feign injury after a 50/50. It just encourages the cheating bastards and the refs need to be stronger. Some are, but they shouldn't be the exception. Sunday was a case in point - Borini played the ref like a fiddle.

Exactly - how he gets in ahead of Cork is a joke.

Ludicrous team selection. Utter madness.

Wanyama needs more time in the reserves. He is ****ing terrible at the moment and it is ridiculous that he is favoured over Cork. Won't be stopping up late in Brisbane to watch the West Ham game. Going to be resting after watching the Winter Olympics midweek. -

Thinking things through, if we're going to get that in the FA Cup under MP every year he can **** off now as far as I am concerned. -

Wanyama looks a out of his depth in the Prem. He's just a destroyer with an engine, he isn't a footballer. Cork makes him look like a pub player. Wanyama at fault for their goal today. Pochettino needs to show the FA Cup more respect. Disappointing end to a promising season. -
Why are we not running at defences like we used to?
Kingsbridge Saint replied to Crispypie's topic in The Saints
What you are describing is counter attacking. The opposition have less of the ball this season hence the reduced amount of counter attacking. We seem to be doing OK though. -
4-3-3 is the way. Hows this: Cech Zabaleta Ivanovic Lovren Baines Hazard Lallana Gerrard Van Persie Sauron Aguero

Lol at Hull fans thinking we would time waste up there. Another win, another good day to be a Saints fan. Well played Yoshi. -

What street is the bus on? -
Unbelievable. Hasn't the bloke done enough damage to the world game?

Football is so important to so many. It would be a shame if his term of office were to be remembered for the wrong reasons. Only takes one idiot.

I remember that Luton game. Saints had a corner, Luton cleared, Saints played a through ball and one of our guys went through and beat the keeper. Critical goal, but the ref disallowed it for offside - and hadn't spotted that one of the defenders had stayed on the line with the keeper when the through ball was played. Met Jimmy Case in a London Road Indian some time later and asked him what the ref had said to him as he ran past him after the incident. Apparently it was along the lines of 'sorry Jim, I ****ed up there'. The Liverpool semi final at White Hart Lane they just repeatedly hauled our fast wingers down near the halfway line and the ref did nothing, just free kick after free kick. Luton was Roger Milford and his mystical 'play until Oldham score' injury time strategy. Even the Bedford Road takeaways were shut when that one ended. Same **** refs, just a different era
