Watched the whole game with the Brisbane Saints in the small hours in a pub. We were terrific. Fully deserved the point. Wanyama and Osvaldo will both improve. Ref had a shocker again. Rooney offside, Fellaini not booked for either of two lunges, and 5 minutes stoppage time? **** off. Although Lallana, Lovren and Morgan were the best players on the day, I thought Davis was immense in the first half.

Zaha would be a good addition. Not sure we would be happy to pick up the United sized wage bill though. Nor should we.

On the cricket - Australia need to win a Test match before you get to spout about England being lucky. Thrashed in India and soundly beaten in England. Personally I think the Aussies are being far too bullish about their prospects in Oz. Have they been underperforming or 'unlucky' or are they really just that crap? We'll find out soon.

It always ****es me off when the 'defending' side takes advantage of situations like this and break quickly. Just because the Argies did it after Sol's 'goal', everyone thinks its fair play. The ref needs to get control back in situations like this by blowing up for a phantom offside or foul, or falling over and stopping play, to square things up. We always get **** refs. Very good win against a top side. Boruc was magnificent and Lallana had a fabulous first half. The commentator in Oz said the side couldn't ask for better support from the fans. It was noticeable that most Swansea attacks came down our left side and Fox was horribly exposed time after time after time. Even when they got the ball on our right it was mostly switched over to our left. They just kept shipping it out getting Fox one on one and loading cross after cross after cross into our box. We really need a new left back if Shaw continues to be so unreliable in terms of health and fitness.

Ball came off Vorm for a clear corner that wasn't given. Wanyamas 'goal' was from a corner that was given that wasn't. Ref decided phantom free kick to Swansea would atone. To square the circle he should have tapped in a goal for Saints from open play to compensate for the corner that wasn't given, from which we may have scored. We always get **** refs.

Our 10 year old made some in app purchases once. He won't be doing it again. We just sat him down and told him that all games which had in app purchases were run by criminals who were only interested in exploiting him and his parents. It's only a small step from there to heroin at the school gate. Anyway, we had him in tears and he hasn't done it since in over a year.

Job done, won without playing that well really. Great to see Osvaldo get off the mark with a crisp finish and another one for Rickie. But after the 60th minute it was a bit turgid really - and Poch wasn't that happy with it. Wanyamas passing really isn't anywhere near PL standard, shocking really for a footballer playing at that level. And I wish Lallana would stop turning back out and slowing the play down, sometimes it's necessary but often it isn't. That should have been four or five really. Still, very happy with the win and delighted with progress.
