Whoever has Marian Pahars FC is also now pending, as above just think there a few gremlins in the works. If you try several times you should be able to submit and enter a team in the league......... I think !

Just noticed there is a team already in called Tumbleweeders and one with the same name pending ! But if one actually looks it is easy enough to change the team name, tumbleweeders ( the imposters) are now Down Unders!

My friend was able to locate the league on the 3rd attempt, then when joining an error message came up again but the team is now pending so the final error message did not prevent his team from being added to the pending list. I suspect it is probably a question of maybe needing to try a few times and being aware that even if you get an error message when trying to join you may well still be on the pending list !? When I went to view the league a while ago ( I'm already in) I received an error message twice but on the 3rd try I was able to view the league details- 55 entries and 6 pending. I suspect just a bug in the system, hopefully it will sort itself out. A friend of mine is about to join so I'll see if he has any problems.

Yes, that makes sense. A ruptured Achilles is not something to take chances with and never should or will we. If he is fit sometime around January then that would indeed be a nice boost to the squad at the right time.

Indeed, I used to play as a winger for my school team at the time and in spite of the other very good players we had Tommy Jenkins was the one I used to really look forward to seeing whether he was frustrating or not! At that age I guess I wasn't too bothered !! Oh yes indeed even he didn't know what he was going to do so how could the opposition lol

He was actually on our books as a goalkeeper before being converted into a centre half. Not sure it was the best of decisions TBH !

I remember it mainly because it was not clear if we had signed Wyn or Ron Davies. Luckily we got by far the better of the 2 !!

I'm reasonably happy with this team/squad with the exception of those * Davis ( Bart) Murty Perry * Thomas * ( need cover for CB especially as Thomas is so injury prone though Ok as a pairing if fit- Jaidi would certainly be a great signing if it goes through after all) Harding * ( again at least 1 defender needed) Lallana Schneiderlin Wooton * ( need someone who can boss the midfield and complement the youth of Morgan- someone in the mould of Jimmy Case would do nicely!)
