15 Didn't wash my hand for 3 days I'd wake up in the middle of the night and start sniffing my finger as if it was glue She was the fittest girl in school

I went with my wife last year, and we stayed in a cracking B & B in a village called Haselbury Plucknett Great pub called The White Horse too

I feel sorry for Adkins, he's inherited a team lacking in morale & confidence, whilst playing under the pressure of being expected to win promotion I'd love to know the real reasons behind our pitiful transfer activity this summer
-
Has he shown you any documentation or proof that he has copyright on those photos?

I met my missus at Peterborough Greyhounds I was a regular visitor with my mates & she worked behind the bar

It's the world we live in now - the internet has given us access to any information we want When we are starved of info, we get angry, suspicious & demand change I often think we would never have won the FA Cup had the internet been around back then! Just imagine how the fans on here would have treated Lawrie Mac between 74-76, with relegation followed by a poor season the next season I'd be interested to know from supporters who remember those days what the perception of Lawrie was before we lifted the cup We would have hounded the guy out of The Dell

Time to accept that it is unlikely we will go up

We clearly lack pace, especially out wide It's been mentioned by many posters that we miss Papa Waigo and Antonio, but I'd be interested to know the real reasons why we never replaced them. Whose fault was it - Pardew or Cortese? Were we being plain arrogant in thinking we didn't need them, or we could sign whoever we wanted in the summer? Whatever the answers, we've made a serious blunder there -
'The Saints are Coming' is a brilliant terrace song & unique to us The problem is, nobody knows the next bit Perhaps we could have a competition to devise a song around that & Baj/Steve could give the winner a free years subscription?

He is included in Stoke's 25 man squad, so isn't completely surplus to requirements there

Excellent post

I'm very excited by his appointment, far more so than I would have been by Martin O'Neill He's intelligent, loyal, forward thinking, gets his teams playing entertaining football, and has achieved miracles at a smaller club I wish posters would stop reeling out this 'underwhelmed' line - this guy could be our new Lawrie Mac
-
I'm assuming you saw her on Strictly? I'm relying on some kind fella to start an appreciation thread for the magnificent Tina O'Brien

I'm totally baffled at people's opposition to NA Let's just stop our arrogance getting the best of us! Before we start talking about Championship promotion campaigns, we need to go from 22nd in L1 to promotion from this division Adkins has been promoted twice from this league with a smaller club, smaller fanbase, and smaller budgets - He's a brilliant choice ffs All this talk of Martin O'Neill LOL When was the last time Martin O'Neill got promoted from any league, let alone this one?
-
I realise some people will consider me bonkers, but........... I think Adkins has the potential to be more successful than Lawrie Mac! He's achieved miracles at a tiny club, he's very intelligent and has more badges than is actually required I like his interviews too, I imagine he's a great motivator & that's what we need right now

If it's fake, then it's a shame that it's being circulated It only takes 1 nutter to think it's a good idea It's amazing how quick copycat crimes can arise Didn't Stanley Kubrick ban his own film 'Clockwork Orange' due to copycat rapes of the woman in her own house?

I remember it vividly I used to be a medical rep & had 2 appointments in Blanford Forum, Dorset The chemists in Blandford Forum used to shut at lunchtime and I was sat there listening to Mike Parry & Richard Kaufman on Talksport describing the scenes whilst waiting for these chemists to re-open at 2pm

I'm pleased that Howe had the sense to turn it down I hope for Adkins it falls through They are good managers, who have shown integrity and loyalty to their clubs They both deserve better than our scumbag of a chairman
-
SSN reporting that S****horpe say the offer to Adkins is withdrawn
Huntingdon replied to Topcat's topic in The Saints
I like Nigel Adkins, he seems an intelligent good guy He deserves better in life than to work for an absolute scumbag like Cortese I despise the little man -
I wrote to Jim'll Fix It when I was 10 I wanted to play a frame of snooker with Alex Higgins In hindsight, it would have quite an education for a young lad! Sadly, I didn't get a reply

Even if KK was in the Grand Harbour, it could be for numerous other reasons - is it not Southampton Boat Show this week? He might just be buying a little toy to enjoy his retirement with FWIW I don't think KK ticks any of NC's boxes - for starters NC doesn't give a monkeys about Saints legends, secondly KK has a reputation for walking whenever he doesn't like the board, also his success over recent years is very limited There's nothing about KK that I imagine would persuade NC to hire him
-
Why does everyone assume that candidates will come to Southampton for an interview I know for a fact that Pardew was interviewed in a hotel in Hook How do I know that? - because someone I know was there when ML and NC were chatting to him
-
Absolute garbage I had £20 on Howe last week at 7/1, and they would only allow me £12.50 No bookmaker would take a bet like that on Managerial appointments
-
Brown and Dowie are almost certainly the two The PL is the place to be, so I'd be very surprised if a current manager wanted to drop 2 divisions

These forums become ridiculous at times In between lots of bull****, someone has revealed the truth I'd love to believe you
