I know you have connections with Plymouth, so you are obviously well informed on Plymouth's apparant derision for us. I always got the impression that with Plymouth being a naval town, they have an affection for their fellow naval town Pompey. As a result of this they also refer to Saints as scummers
-
Surely next weeks trip to Gillingham is nearer than Plymouth The London clubs - Millwall, Leyton Orient, Brentford, Charlton, Palace are definitely nearer than Plymouth
-
Lambert is clearly player of the season Special mention goes to Lallana & Schneiderlin though, because 12 months ago fans were seriously slagging them both off (especially their attitudes), but they have had brilliant seasons & now look the part Let's hope we can keep all 3 of them in the summer + Pards

Nick Clegg annoyed me over the immigration debate He was being quite confrontational to Cameron & Brown on their policies - this was a desperate attempt to cover his own dreadful policy of just leaving the gates open
-
I recently saw an interview with Bale where he said he always looks out for Saints results
-
And if there's one other person who's influenced me in that way I think, someone who is a maverick, someone who does that to the system, then, it's Ian Botham. Because Beefy will happily say "that's what I think of your selection policy, yes I've hit the odd copper, yes I've enjoyed the old dooby, but will you **** off and leave me alone, I'm walking to John O'Groats for some spastics
-
It's not over yet Huddersfield have been crap on their travels, so may get complacent at Stockport & I wouldn't fancy going to Exeter on the final day needing a result
-
Clegg doing well is a victory for Labour not the Lib Dems Nick Clegg has as much chance of being Prime Minister as Nick Griffin The Lib Dems cannot win the election, but they can stop the Conservatives winning, so no wonder Brown was giving Clegg nods of agreement throughout
-
I've been really disappointed in Cameron so far Brown is performing far better than I expected
-
Has somebody hijacked your account? This seems far too positive for the original GM
-
There is a Simple Simon from Pompey who used to phone quite often I remember listening to him when the fake Sheikh was promising £50M in cash This guy was getting quite excited about playing Champions League football, he even thought they'd be challenging Man Utd, Real Madrid or Barcelona as the biggest club in the world
-
That would be a real shame if they went bust I know someone who lives in Southend & he went to watch our FA Cup match with Pompey in a local pub. There was a number of Southend fans in there en route to their home match with Tranmere, and not a single person was cheering for Pompey When Lambert scored there were massive cheers Absolutely no idea why, but the two clubs appear to have developed an affection for each other

I'd like to see the BNP do well, but not too well I get the impression most people are bored with all parties being in the centre, desperately trying to win votes by not offending anyone A good result for the BNP will make all 3 mainstream parties realise that immigration and jobs for the British are important subjects to us, and you don't have to be a racist to have strong views on immigration
-
You can't joke about anything these days without somebody feeling offended. It's this pathetic PC mindset which is driving the BNP's rise
-
Wow, I bet all the kerb crawlers are well gutted
-
My MP is Jonathon Djanogly Needless to say Huntingdon (John Major's old constituency) is staunch Tory It makes voting almost irrelevant There's more chance of seeing Elvis delivering charity white bags than seeing a Labour MP
-
How much money has Roy Hodgson spent at Fulham? To take any club to the Semi-Final of the Europa League is a great achievement, but to do it with Fulham is incredible
-
I live in John Major's old constituency, so it's fairly right-wing (as you can imagine) I'm very surprised at the continued growth of the BNP Whether they win a seat or not is uncertain, but they certainly have hardcore support I blame the 3 major parties for this - they are too quick to slag off the BNP, but are not addressing the issues why people are turning to them. I wouldn't mind betting that the average BNP supporter, is not somebody who'd be rude to someone just because they are black. They are turning to the BNP for more deep rooted issues & this is something the mainstream parties are struggling to grasp

Theo Walcott is proving to be a huge disappointment 3 years ago when he came off the bench at Anfield, burst through the whole Liverpool team to set up Adebayor for a goal, he was brilliant......all he needed was consistancy He's not improved at all since then
-
We did release a right-back called Kevin Phillips! We then spent £3M to buy him back once other clubs had realised he was a cracking striker
-
In all fairness, appointing Claus as the Social Events Manager was always going to be a disaster
-
That's a pretty sad story, but not surprising I remember meeting Claus in Jumpin Jaks a few years back.....he was smoking like a trooper & was completely wrecked It was not what you expected of a professional athlete
-
Can't believe it's still 0-0 after 25 mins Barca have been brilliant I hate Wenger, I'd love to see his team totally outclassed
-
Don't forget Tim, O'Hara belongs to Spurs & we have already swiped Fonte from Palace (very much against their wishes)
-
What about signing the two fags who used to play for Pompey?
