  1. Hang on there! Why haven't you given an explanation for your answer?
  2. Hi MLG, I've just googled the definition of the word 'answer' and it states the following: "a thing that is said, written, or done as a reaction to a question, statement, or situation." Please can you explain why you don't think Dman's post fits this description? Giving an explanation isn't always needed to answer a question.
  3. Conceded a late goal to draw 1-1 v Bridgewater. Could end up being a couple of costly points lost...
  4. Newcastle have dropped more points from winning positions than Saints so far this season. Losers.
  5. His white shirt appears to be by far and away the most valued one currently up for auction. I love the guy, but nearly £8,000 for a sweaty, unwashed shirt?! (presumably rising over the next 9 days). Who the fudge is this bidder within our fanbase? https://www.ebay.co.uk/sch/sfcfoundation/m.html?_nkw=&_armrs=1&_ipg=&_from=
  6. Sorry in advance for sounding a bit MLG, but there is no "loudest part of the stadium". The acoustics are the same throughout. There is a part of the stadium where the loudest contingent of fans sit though. And the main reason that the Northam happens to have evolved into the noisiest section of the stadium is BECAUSE its next to the away fans, and not in spite of it. This discussion has been going on for years. If the noisy fans feel that passionately, all they have to do is buy tickets in a different part of the ground. The club could of course help, when STs go on sale, by suggesting louder fans/those who want to sing, sit the Chapel (and move the family section). But then the louder fans would have to accept the fact that they can't act hard in front of the away fans quite so easily / give them the finger etc. I'm sure some of those who currently sit in the Northam/Chapel would get a bit uppity ("why should I have to move seats /I like my view" etc) but let's be honest, the ground is pretty much completely symmetrical so shouldn't make any difference to anyone really.
  7. Mayuka would be a Premier League superstar.
  8. What a load of bollocks.
  9. No necessarily the loudest rendition given the smaller attendance, but for some reason I always have fond memories of a game in the Championship against Coventry, which I think was just after Rupert left for good? Seem to remember constant OWTS for most of the 2nd half leading up to a stunner from Gareth Bale. Pretty sure this is the game:
  10. They'll be harking on about this for years.
  11. Welcome to the forum, Dan. Who do you support?
  12. Just 4 points off the Champions League places. Nice.
  13. As Saints fans, we are all well aware of the 'points lost from winning positions' stat over the last couple of years. Does anyone know how we are doing in the 'points won from losing positions' table though? We must be rocketing up the division at the moment...
  14. BT Sport desperately trying to sell (our) Ralph to United...Scholes/Hoddle basically saying Saints players are shit so RH would love to leave.
  15. Got a strange feeling there's going to be a bit of an upset today. 2-1 United.
  16. Guarantee Spurs will score in the 9th minute of injury time now due to the Broja injury after their goal...
  17. Ref will probably find a reason to rule it out
  18. I've never seen such a blatant foul. Bull f**king shit.
  19. Lost 3-2 after being 2-1 up after 80 mins. And their fans are the bestest, causing a 20 minute delay at the start of the 2nd half...
  20. So want him to play the first team but complain that any of the first team players that come on work too hard and/or get injured? OK.
  21. How strong is Coventry's team?
  22. The atmosphere at Celtic looks pretty intense this evening. No Rangers fans there, but have it on good authority they've been making themselves know outside the stadium and around the city. 1-0 Celtic after 5 minutes.
