Actually, we aren't. We are nearing the end of our 45th season in the top flight. I would suggest, having liased closely with MLG on the matter, that we won't be "going in to" our 46th season until at least pre-season.

I don't think anyone else other than Ralph has talked about us being a top 10 team in the last few weeks. He may as well have talked about us having the chance to win the league. Both would have been just as likely of happening. I like Ralph, he seems like a decent guy and think he genuinely likes Saints and probably wants to repay the faith thats been shown in him (by not sacking him after the 9-0 drubbings/ terrible runs of form). That being said, the time is up for him. If he isn't sacked in the next few days that presumably means he is in the clubs plays to carry on into next season which is a worry.

Think he needs to go. Get someone (admittedly, no idea who...) in before the end of the season and give him a ring of games to get to know the players before the transfer window opens. I like Ralph and his passion but we can't keep going on terrible runs like this and expecting to progress to the next level.
