Hardly secret news, unfortunately. People have been trying to warn the world about it for years and are being largely ignored by governments. It will hit home in the UK over the next few years that we are in serious trouble with water shortages causing carnage (particularly in the south east). Water companies have emergency plans in place, but they will not be fit for purpose if we have a particularly hot summer or two. As usual it will be the poorest in society that will suffer the most.

Apparently "wine time Fridays" were held throughout lockdown at 10 Downing Street. They bought a beer fridge especially. Sounds just like working at a hipster tech firm, just without the vegans and top knots.

Next game...wrong national anthem for Mauritania played 3 times. Players then asked to just sing it themselves a cappella. Not a great day for the tournament so far...

Finished 1-0 to Mali. Djenepo got a yellow card in the first half. Then gave away a penalty in the second half, before then being subbed off. Very odd refereeing Mali got a straight red (including a VAR review) despite barely being a foul. The ref also blew for full time on about 86 minutes. After a few complaints the game continued before he eventually blew for full time in the 89th minute instead.

Currently playing for Mali v Tunisia. 0-0 so far.

I suspect the next move will be to wait for the results of the inquiry (which will somehow absolve Boris) after which photos of him (probably not socially distancing) at the party will emerge.
