Fair to say this season has been pretty exciting. I'm not a particular fan of Hamilton but guess I want him to win and eventually go down as the greats (he is a Brit afterall). Verstappen seems like a bit of a nut job which helps add to the drama.

I'm seem to always be advertised a 30 day free trial with Amazon Prime, but at the moment the closest I seem to be able to get to a trial is 99p for the first week. Is that the same for everyone? Do they stop doing the free trials around Christmas time or something? I've had the 30 day trial before but we'll over a year ago...

Good question - suppose you never know what is going on in people's lives/their ability to cope with torrents of abuse, so the answer probably should probably be that they shouldn't ever have to put up with it. Personally, if it was me, I reckon I'd get over it for £40,000 a week.

Wouldn't the world be nicer if they didn't have to though? The women aren't paid enough to be abused by thousands of fat, tanked up low lives just because they wear a different colour shirt to some other people who play in a different city in a different colour shirt. If you don't like womens football, don't watch it / don't go just to intimidate the opposition. Like it or not the women's game has a higher percentage of female (and male) fans (including girls/children) who want to watch it and enjoy it for what it is...a proper sport, albeit perhaps not currently the same standard as the men's game...without feeling intimated. Fans of a lot of other sports seem to manage it.

I see last night on Instagram he posted some videos of himself at Salt Bae's restaurant (aka the restaurant of rich bellends that want a photo op).

I always got the impression (admittedly based on nothing other than his Instagram account) that he was far more interested in modeling, "influencing" and endorsing random products than he was on football. Doesn't surprise me in the slightest that his attitude isn't quite right.

What fanfare did you want? It was the main sports headlines. I saw live interviews with him on both BBC ITV and Sky. It's only about the 8th biggest tournament of the year (behind the 4 grand slams, Olympics, Davis Cup, end of year finals) so was hardly going to make main headlines. For what it's worth, Raducanu has clearly had bad advice re: the media. Hopefully she settles down and focuses on tennis over the coming years rather than getting too sucked in to the celebrity lifestyle. Sadly I have a suspicion her career has probably already peaked...
