I don't know the correct answer to your question, but considering the fact that our greatest ever penalty taker had a success rate of lower than 98%, I'd say you're well off the mark. Probably closer to 85% would be my guess (I'm not old enough to remmeber anything before the 90's either), especially if you consider all the ones we missed in our first few years in the Championship - I seem to remember going through a spell of missing more than we scored. Having said that, Rickie Lambert has the potential to drag that percentage back up again.

Well most of the other new players have got their own thred this evening.... I know he didn't get a huge amount of time on the field today, but he was much more noticable than he was against United. Looks like he has the potential to be a good player for us, and caused Villa fair few problems towards he end. Looked pretty desperate to make an impression and score - shame he didn't because I think it would have done the world of good for his confidence.

I agree with most of what you say, except about Lambert. He was very good today (again). Would you really leave him out of the starting line-up having scored 2 today? As for Mayuka, yes he really impressed me today. I can't believe people on here were comparing him to Ali Dia after the United game. He's pacey and seems quite composed on the ball. Having said that, I think he's a good player to have coming off the bench rather than starting.

Just had a look at the tickets website. Still quite a few left in the Itchen/Chapel corner. Also right behind the goal in the Chapel...that won' look good on the telly. I've figured out what I think the problem is with the ticket website. When you have the stadium plan and you have to select which block you want, there's no way of telling how many tickets are left in that block before you click - so if you don't know what's available you might ended up clicking on 10 different blocks before you find an available seat - a lot of people might lose patience before that and just give up. It would be much better if we had something similar to the Man Utd ticket website which has a traffic light colour scheme for each block - green for high availability, orange for limited available and red if the block is sold out. I've always liked the look of the Bundesliga. We should play there one year.

Becaus of this thread, I've just got back into it having been over a year without playing it. Yes, I'd forgotten justhow repetitve it is in single player, although I really like the online multi-player.

Has anyone else tried using this? I decided to sign up for it and thought I'd make the most of the 30 days free trial which is advertised for it. You have to give all your details etc (including bank details), which I've done (with a view to cancelling the direct debit as soon as the trial is over). But since I've signed up, I haven't been able to use it. When I try loading it from the main PS3 home screen, the Love Film logo comes up for about 10 seconds, then it comes up with a loading screen, but says it failed to connect - after that, I am unable to do anything else other than quit and return back to the main PS3 home screen. As far as I'm aware I don't have any issues with my internet conection (I can play games online on the PS3). Any solutions? If not, does anyone know how I can cancel my subscription? I don't particuarly want to end up paying £5/month for something I can't use. I assued I'd just be able to cancel it fairly easily, but obviously can't because I can't access it...
