There's a video of Adkins interview on Saints Player now. The first 10-15 seconds of the video show the crowd celebrating (which I think is at the end of the match). It shows Gazza high fiving loads of Saints fans....the win clearly meant a lot to him, which despie his misrtake for the goal, is nice to see.

What ever happened about this? I know the suggestion was (rightly so IMO) met with widespread criticism, but I seem to remember them saying the idea would be reassessed a few years down the line? Obviously when this news came out a few years ago it didn't seem like it would ever effect us, but now (if we stay up), who knows? If there was, which Premier League team would you like to see us play for a 3rd time in the season, and where? I wouldn't mind seeing us play Wigan again, in Namibia.

In the away end the have coloured lights to match the away end teams colours. It's the most incredible thing I've ever seen, and well worth the £100m or whatever alone. Oh, and sometimes Des Lynham is there, which really adds to the football experience.
