The balance of the team seems to get thrown when Guly plays, wherever he plays. He has his moments and has scored a fair share of goals but it always seems a case of shoe-horning him in. Be good to see Puncheon carry on his current form on the right-hand-side, if he does then Guly will continue to struggle to even get in the matchday squad. 15 minutes lollage.

Whether a player is interferring with play can, at times, be very subjective. Not sure it's quite as black and white as you're suggesting. Enjoyed the game today, a good atmosphere and a confident mood about the place. Be nice to follow it up Wednesday.

Adkins clearly felt Fox was not up to the job hence our pursuit of a replacement LB. It would seem a joint effort between Adkins and Les Reeds team to identify targets and for NC to seal the deal so I'm not clear as to why you are pointing the finger at Adkins.

He didn't have a lot of alternative options. For whatever reason we did not acquire an LB during the summer and he clearly felt that Shaw was not ready at that point. Your proposal would have been.......?

I had a chuckle when browsing through Skysports last night and came across the Pompey v LO game. Clicked on the 'team lineups' where they show the pics of the players in their relative playing positions to find only 1(?) of them wearing Portsmouth kit and one player (a centre-half) with no picture at all.
