I've read on here that Cortese is a tyrant and a stickler for adhering to contracts and in no way could possibly be flexible enough in his style to allow this to happen.

Now getting the thread back on track, another interpretation of the non-payment might be that the contract over-ran the agreed deadline as confirmed by the contractors own legal representatives, PJ English Associates. I'm sure it's not the first time or will be the last time that a stage / completion payment has not been made in the world of contracting. Still, that Nicola is a very naughty boy.

I think the first part is a completely fair comment. As an aside, I would be more than surprised if we don't make a significant profit from his sale when he does eventually move on but that wouldn't negate the financial impact of relegation if that indeed ends up being the case. We've got a long way to go this season so let's not throw the towel in just yet.

That could well be John but what are we going to do about it? As soon as I know I can get on the bus. I did ask Dicky several times what the end goal of his campaign was but he's struggling with an answer and even sent one of his minders to respond but still without an answer. I'm at a loss to know what to do, we could try Leon, Tony or Micky I guess.

The big question is what do we do now that we have this damning evidence? I know Dicky Turkish is working on something along the lines of a Facebook campaign or a letter to our local MP or a march on Town Hall but whilst he is prevaricating crucial time is being lost. We have to do something now, certainly before close of business today. We should mobilise the fans immediately. Maybe a campaign such as 'anyone but Cortese' could be an idea. There must be a myriad of wealthy (and nice) entities out there queuing up to invest in our club? It's time for action.

Bryn likes to walk the course for exercise and 'harass/entertain' the memebrs with his extensive repetoire of jokes but he doesn't play too much golf now due to a recent hip operation. He remains fit and well and in good form.
